Steve, in season 2, is reminding me a little bit of James Franco as Daniel Desario at the end of Freaks and Geeks. Not an exact copy, but similar with the way their characters changed and the bond they end up having with the younger kids, the "Geeks." They should have Steve play Dungeons and Dragons with the group next season like Daniel did.
