I find his (false?) tooth so charming
Still stuck in the Leviticus building…
Hellraiser Lament Configuration tattoo after a couple months healed.
Figured I’d finally post it because I scheduled a Martin tattoo for early July!!! Horror tattoo leg sleeve is slowly coming together babyyy
Hopefully we get some deleted scenes or scenes cut from the script for Ryan’s POV but I feel like a novelization of his story would be very very good
Just kidding hated the original so adjusted some things and added some others

Have you met my son, Yoichi? Don’t mind his eyes that seem to know too much, they do.
One of the most impeccably dressed and sweetest child characters in horror imo
Tamiya Yuji you are so so so important to me

I’ve seen the “the Whitaker farm animals were Dennis’s first patients” and I raise you a dead deer was his fist “cadaver study”
Something that he and his brothers had found wandering out in a field. Dennis trailing after his brothers not really invited but determined to be included. When the older boys stop to look at the dead thing, laying on its side, tongue sticking out and eyes bulging, the jerk back with disgust. They poke at the deer with a stick, its distended belly bouncing back after, but grow bored of it quickly.
Dennis’s older brothers move on, the dead deer a quick fascination that they brush off. Dennis, though, stays behind and eyes the deer all over, circling it and finding all the signs of decay slowly eating at the corpse.
And over the next couple of weeks, whenever Dennis is done with his homework, his chores, and whatever task shoved on him that day, he goes back to that field with that deer. He watches as time and heat and scavengers eat away the skin and muscles and fat to reveal all the important insides. He watches as that all falls away too, and leaves nothing behind but a dirty skeleton.
There’s a pang of sadness, Dennis feels looking at the skeletal deer. A sense of ownership had come over Dennis as the weeks went on and he’d visit this spot, this thing, nearly everyday. With no changes or new developments, there really wasn’t reason to keep coming here. But he takes a couple teeth as souvenirs, because even deer deserve to be remembered.
The plan for S3 is simple. We fire whoever drops stills/interviews/sneak peeks. We hire someone who knows what a scheduled send is. We stop releasing 2-3 clips of a 45 minute episode. We extend all episodes to 55 minutes. We release physical copies of S1 and S2 with bloopers, behind the scenes, and a version of that one Shrek 2 American Idol game but it’s karaoke with various characters instead.
Obsessed with this scene in The Vourdalak

Definitely thinking about a medieval AU where Angela is a princess that’s betrothed to Bosco. (which I know super obvious, I also know like nothing about the systems and politics of medieval Spain I’m just having a lil fun )
Of course she meets his fool, Chema, and they hit it off well. He’s still a little freak who says weird things and has a macabre sense of humor but that’s part of the job isn’t it? And Angela’s just as odd, especially among the court that Bosco keeps.
The camaraderie between them pushes Chema to warn Angela off about Bosco, his intense interests and disregard for other’s feelings. Angela brushes this off, she knows Chema as well as she knows Bosco, which is to say not at all. She’s not going to take one’s word over the other, especially when one’s her betrothed.
As time goes on, Bosco still seems his charming, put together self, despite Chema’s warning. Then Angela finds some books, ones about *ahem different positions and special bedroom interests, another handful about methods of making someone confess or convert. All of them no matter the subject are extremely graphic, Angela is both horrified and intrigued.
When she confronts Bosco about it he just needles her and her obvious interest, not to just the graphic material but to him as well. The two continue a back and forth for a while, their courtship going well and a marriage date approaching. Thought it all, Angela still doesn’t believe the bad Chema occasionally still tries to convince her of in Bosco.
There’s some disputes in the land that Bosco governs between his men and the people living in the area. Bosco reacts cruelly and without mercy, going so far as to get his hands dirty himself (even if technically he wears gloves so not a spot actually gets on him). Angela spots a gleam in his eye as he comes back from the awfulness he’s committed, she’d never seen it before but now she see’s it everywhere. In the way he dismisses the staff, or breaks apart petty arguments, he picks and prods and tries to cause tension and hurt before acting as if nothing had happened.
Angela finally believes Chema’s words, and realizes she can’t be married to Bosco. The cruelties he reigns out in public were awful, what would happen in their matrimonial bedroom. Angela starts to plan to leave, she does so quickly and quietly, but Chema knows her well enough by now to notice the signs. He offers to help, even wants to go with her, not particularly liking the role of the fool anymore.
The two are able to leave under the cover of night, none the wiser. It’s a success, somehow, they aren’t followed and they’re able to breath outside the stuffy walls of the court. They set up a book shop (or something) somewhere far enough away from Bosco and his reign that they won’t be influenced without proper warning.
Word about Bosco does eventually reach them, and it makes Angela want to go back immediately. Sena, Angela’s little sister, has been betrothed to Bosco in Angela’s place, and they’re not waiting the appropriate courtship length. They’re getting married soon, and Angela can’t let that happen. She and Chema make the trek back Bosco’s court, days before the marriage is to take place.
Angela is at a loss as to what to do, her first instinct had been to offer herself back in her sister’s place. This idea, however, had quickly been shot down by Chema, who had a ‘better’ solution, to take care of Bosco permanently. Angela is originally against the idea, until when they’re creeping around the corridors (via secret passages from Chema’s time as a fool) they see Bosco speak rather unkindly to Sena and articulate with a fine slap across her cheek. Sena looks cowed, her big eyes watering as she apologizes to Bosco and rushes off. Angela is quick to change her mind on the ending Bosco route after that.
I think the ‘showdown’ would be in Bosco’s chambers. Sena is supposed to be there but Angela convinces her to go with Chema (again secret passages) and she takes Sena’s place. Bosco comes in and is pleasantly surprised to find Angela. He promises her he only ever wanted her and that now that she’s back he’s never letting her go. An altercation ensues, Angela pulls a knife, and in the end Bosco dies.
I don’t have any thoughts really past that, maybe Angela takes over Bosco’s court and lands. Chema isn’t really a fool anymore but he still makes Angela laugh and stays by her side.
Just a fun little thought blurb
Was listening to a Ranson playlist with the song Bruno is Orange and the lyrics:
Did make me think in some reversal scenario where Randy snaps instead of Benson, Randy would lock Benson away “to keep him safe”. Drugging his drink, initially, and later on his food to make him sick or weak, breaking ankles and fingers.
This is also influenced by the idea of if Ranson were parents, Benson feels like the type to throw the kid in the deep end to learn to swim, while Randy’d be an agoraphobic over worrier who’d want to homeschool.
