Sam’s PI ALL STAR Jury Question
I want to emphasize ALL STAR because I want to remind you three that you are competing for the title of the Sole Survivor of an ALL STAR season. This means that this winner should really have played an all star game that can represent this season well. Unfortunately, I think some of you forgot this because I don’t know if any of you have really truly played an all star game. In my opinion, a true all star is someone who has excelled in the physical, strategic, and social aspect of this game but I don’t think I saw any of you truly excel at the trifecta.
In my honest opinion, an all star is NOT someone who simply hides behind immunity wins and an extreme amount of powerful items and just tries to instill fear in others with all of this. An all star would be able to use these powers as a way to further themselves AND their allies. Using all but one of these powers incorrectly, and the one that was used correctly was only because someone told them to use it, is not all star worthy resume. Someone who is an all star would be willing to take risks and strategically keep themselves safe and use their powers on other allies as well. The social game of an all star would also not consist of making people feel as if they’re being talked down to, inferior, and that their opinion does not matter. With their social and strategic game, an all star would also be able to set their sights on a target and get them out, especially after trying at least three times, NOT sitting in the final 3 with them. This does not sound like the game of an all star to me.
An all star is also not someone who accepts the fate they think is coming, roll over, and die. It’s not someone who lets their allies do all of their work for them while they simply accept that they are going home and think that there is nothing that can be done. However, it does speak to their social game that they made such strong bonds that their allies were willing to work their butts off and risk and ultimately give up their lives in the game just to save them (now those allies definitely sound like all star worthy winners).
Someone who lays low, watches everyone, doesn’t necessarily have any strong bonds but still knows where other people’s loyalties lie is the closest we have to an all star out of all of these three. I still wouldn’t say it’s a wow-worthy all star game but it’s better than nothing. With this game, an all star could have really come out at the end and used all of the information and knowledge they had gathered to make some big moves and really work their way to the top instead of just making it by.
So now I want you guys to reflect upon your own games tell me why I’m wrong and why you truly are an all star with your analysis OR why on further inspection you think maybe it isn’t an all star worthy game. Whether you saw it as an all star game or not, I want you guys to all tell me how this game has improved upon your previous games you’ve played in this series because another part of being an all star is being able to grow and adapt your previous games to make it better. If you didn’t find your game all star worthy, I want you to tell me what you could have done to make it better. My vote isn’t completely decided yet so these answers could really sway me.
And last but not least, to remind you all that I both love and hate all three of you (and because you know why) sort us all into Hogwarts Houses. It’s your turn bitches!
