“Maybe they do look a bit better on you.” Dylan shrugged before turning his attention to the egg hunt up ahead, allowing himself to be steered in the direction of it. “Am I supposed to be your egg detector?” he mused, glancing behind his shoulder at her with a laugh.

Nadine simply let out a laugh in response, knowing that what Dylan was saying was the truth. She had picked the pair out of all the others for a reason, after all. “Jacob said there’s someone who can find the eggs. You could be that someone.”

Dylan stared at her out of the corner of his eye, contemplating whether he’d let her win. “Here.” He disgruntled, pulling the ears off his head before placing them in her outstretched hand. “You win. This time.”

Nadine couldn’t help the tinkle of a laugh that left her lips as he handed her back the ears, just like she’d expected, and she placed them back on her head, making sure her hair was still perfectly in place. “Naturally,” she shrugged, putting her hand flat on his back and steering him towards the egg hunt. “Now, let’s find those eggs.”

“Oh puh-lease. Everything is my colour,” Dylan brought his free hand up and flicked one of the bunny ears with a smirk. “You can have them back if you help me find those alcohol vouchers.”

“You could always have a sober friend keep hold of said phone.”

Dylan’s eyes followed her hands up to her rabbit ears. Reaching forward and swiftly pulling them off the top of her head. “We share both the drink and these…” he smirked, jumping back out of her reach as he fixed them on top of his own head.

“Oi --” Nadine scowled, reaching -- and failing -- to grab the ears back. “Those aren’t even your colour.”

“No. What if I misplace my phone whilst it’s on silent?”

“Of course not, that would be cheating. I’m just curious to know who the amazing finder is. Incase I ever lose anything important.”

Dylan stopped dead in his spot, staring at the skipping woman as she made off with his drink. Quickening up his pace he began to skip alongside her. “Tell you what. You share whatever the hell you’re on, with me, and I’ll share with you,” he swiftly grabbed the bottle from her basket.

“See I would, but it’s all gone,” she replied, stopping in her tracks and reaching up to adjust the pink easter rabbit ears that were perched on her head.

“We’d need someone to watch the table --” Nadine replied, already casting her eyes around to find someone.

“I’m assuming these are appropriate for admission?” Dylan sauntered up to the entrance of the Harris Farm, pulling his hands from behind his back revealing a bottle of Jack Daniels in one, and vodka in the other.
