20 years separation isnât a happy ending. Mia growing up with out her father isnât a happy ending
Iâm mad because right now I feel like I wasted 5 years of life. And by what they showed, they really are willing to take the title of âWORST SERIES FINALE EVERâ from himym...Iâm pised
I just want to know why ppl canât dislike the Paradise Dimension ending...I hate it and I have my reasons for hating it. Just because Arrow was grim for most part of it existence deoesnât mean I have to settle for a ending that is grim just because itâs how the show was concived. Oliver deserves a better and a happier ending and I will keep saying it.
I just want to make sure that I said it but...

Here is a thing about ARROW S8
They can put how many olicity kids they want. They can make Oliver say Felicity's name in every scene, I'm still not gonna watch it until Emily is back and that Future is fixed.
I remember when Castle s8 ended and they announced they were negociating s9 and Stana came on twitter and gave a statement saying she wouldn't be in it. Everybody had the same reaction: CASTLE without Beckett is just boring and souless. The same applies to Arrow. Arrow without Felicity is souless. No matter how many kids you put in there, they won't replace her. It doesn't matter of you want to do a spin off about Mia. If the spin off is about misery and based on the fact she never met her father, she wasn't raised by him, that the whole city hates him, I don't see a point on watching that. I want Oliver to be happy and be able to raise his kids. If they only imagine a spin off happening only if it's based on sadness and misery, so I don't want it.

Sometimes I think that Emily
lacks on her way to express what she feels about something when she is giving interviews. And sometimes it can sound like she is being ungreatful of something. Her interview for Collider, when she talkis about coming back itâs one of this moments. If the person doesnât read the whole answer, it can sound like she doesnât want to have anything with Arrow any more, wich can make some ppl feeling like she just doesnât care about the show or what it gave to her. I think her lack of experience has lots to do with that.Â
My advice? If you have the chance to see her, tell her about how you feel with her answer about returning to Arrow. You are her fan, and she needs to know how what she says can ressonate to ppl.
About Emily's interview for Collider...
For those who doesn't know, when they questioned her about comi g back for s8, she said she liked the way things ended and that it's on the writers hand.
I think this is a answer that are frequently give when actors are questioned about coming back to a show they just left. When she went to the same way. What I get from that is that if they can give her a sl that makes sense and that doesn't feel just a last minute thing sl, I can see her agreeing to come back. This answer was pretty close to the ones Beth and Pedowitz gave at the up fronts about Felicity coming back. So we can see there is a agreement in it.
Personally, I don't think Arrow producers are planning to end the show with out Felicity, mainly because they know how important she is to the story and to the fans. I can see them keeping it as low as possible, just so the expectation and the suprise element is still on. For me it would be very frustrating to see Arrow end with out her in there. And, based on what I see, it wouldn't be just me feeling the same.
You know what the most painful part of last nightâs Arrow was for me?
It wasnât the Monitor returning to take Oliver away. It wasnât Oliver and Felicityâs tearful goodbyes, although I was already crying by that point. (And seriously, that was amazingly well done by both Stephen and Emily.) It wasnât Oliver having to say goodbye to baby Mia.
It was Felicity choosing to say goodbye to Mia and William. Her children.
Mia is what, 19? Maybe 20? She never got to know her dad, and now sheâs losing her mom too. And she said it last night - she still needs her mom. (Thatâs the line that really broke me.)
William lost his mom tragically young. A few short years later, he felt abandoned by his dad and step-mom. And just a few days after being reunited, Felicityâs leaving him again.
Sure, they can take care of themselves in the field. They proved that last night. But that doesnât mean they donât need Felicity.
I lost my mom almost a year and a half ago. Sunday was my second Motherâs Day without her. So seeing Felicity walk away from her kids last night really stung.
I love Olicity. I love the thought that someday, somehow, they were able to reunite. I get that sheâs already spent 20 years without him. But I still hate what happened.
I was so mad at this too. I don't know a single mother that would leave her children. 2nd, it was a perfect series finale until they decided to throw the whole thing for the crossover. Now we have that ridiculous crossover and got a finale where everything is miserable
Iâm just still really upset that Oliverâs journey ended in him being robbed of every source of happiness in his life.
Like, does anyone else think its almost worse that he was exiled to some sort of multiverse netherworld- alone? LikeâŠhe barely functioned as a human in prison without contact with Felicity and William. And now heâsâŠwhere exactly? Completely without contact with his wife, his son, and his new baby daughter for 20 years? Ripped away from them just when he thought heâd found peace?

I give a crap about the crossover, and I give a crap about Olicity being reunited 20 YEARS LATER. And you know why? Because being reunited after 20 years of misery, pain and sadness isn't a happy ending. Felicity leaving her children isn't a happy ending. Oliver never meeting his daugther isn't a happy ending. William never seeing his father again, and feeling like he was abandoned isn't a happy ending. Mia not having one single memory of her father isn't a happy ending. It's just BS! Simple like that.

We can see their isn't one writer in there that is a parent, because if it had, they would never allow someone write such a thing as a mother leaving her children alone. That pissed me off so much.

It pissed me off ppl that are like âNow they are together, as they promisedâ or âFelicity made sure the capted her promise to OLiver, and now they are happyâ...Literally, is because of this that TV shows are getting so many bad series finales. Accepting everything they throw at you. And, how you can be hppy knowing Oliverâs daugther will never know him? Will never rememer how is it to be hugged by her own father. Not knowing his voice? That she will grow up not knowing she has a brother? That William will never heard from them for 20 years? How pl can be so okay with that?
