Oh , let me start by saying thank you for you beautiful words nonnie . I don't know if they'll get back together or not, to be honest I'd like Nessa and Zac to be at least friends because of what they had in the past . I think the most important thing for them is to be happy , and if they're happy just the way they are right now , they should keep it like that , if not , they should get back together. Only they know the answer to that . Xx

Zac could tell his past partner was nervous, it was in her voice and her stature which was relieving, given he felt the same way. Something about talking to Vanessa now had made the beach feel like a safe zone. There were no longer paparazzi or busy schedules - he wasn’t thinking about his next flight out of L.A. or his interview tomorrow. She’d cleared his mind in seconds.

"I’m doing good. There’s a lot going on. New movie just came out, been around the world and back in the passed month," he shrugged. "It’s kind of nice to just relax on the beach for once. Haven’t done it in a while. How about you?" He peeked over to her, just from the corner of his eye, still too nervous to make direct eye contact.

Vanessa didn't know for sure what was wrong with her and why she was feeling like this . She imagined this moment a lot of times and she knew it will happen eventually . They were both in this industry , attending the same events and a rumor about a HSM reunion was out there , so it was gonna happen sooner or later . She never though it would be like this though , just the two of them, nobody else around .

"You're talking about The Awkward Moment , right ? " she said in response. " Ash told me about that one ... " she took a moment to shortly look at him " She said you did a really good job ". V couldn't ignore Zac's behavior and couldn't help but notice that it look a lot like hers . " I'm doing the same thing , promoting a new movie and traveling around the world . " she said while playing with her hand through the nice , warm sand .

The feeling in his stomach ceased the moment he’d caught her glance. She was as beautiful as she always had been. Memories quickly flooded back into his mind, reminding him of every great moment they’d had together. It had always upset him when he thought back to how they ended, refusing to talk to each other. They’d missed out on so many great get togethers avoiding each other and that was never his intention. Whether this was a short conversation with a quick goodbye or if they started hanging out, he’d refuse to walk away on harsh terms again.

"Interesting." He nodded. "Is it any good?" Without an answer, Zac brought himself down to his knees and then dropped himself onto the sand. If she wanted him gone, he knew she’d tell him but something about talking to her again had made him feel comfortable. She was a fine memory of his more relaxing past, when things weren’t so hectic. "Hope you don’t mind."

Seeing him again , after all this time , made V think about all those years spent together . Every single memory , no matter how small, or insignificant, came back to her in a second . Her heart was suddenly beating harder and harder and it took her a minute to calm down and take a long and deep breath.

" To be honest , I just started it " she said with a small smile on her face " It seems to be good though .  " Vanessa looked at him while closing the book and putting away her beer . When Zac got down and closer to her , another set of memories flashed through her mind . " No , no , it's fine . " was all she managed to say . She tried to pull herself together , but the mix of intense feelings going through her body didn't help, in fact , it made it even worse. " So , um ... how are you doing ? Long time , no see. " She felt like a stupid kid that couldn't get a couple words out of her mouth without hesitating .

Finally, the time had come where Zac had gotten the break he so desperately needed. It had been months since he’d had time to get away, just be by myself. Movie premieres, press conferences and interviews all over the world had consumed him for his latest film. Sure, he’d loved keeping busy, but nothing beat a day to himself. 

Zac kicked his bare feet into the warm sand. It had been a long time since he’d had time to himself, sure, but it’d been even longer since he’d gotten to take a real trip to the beach. As he strolled through, shirt unbuttoned and shoes in-hand, he’d suddenly caught a glance of someone familiar. It had taken him a moment at first but soon enough he’d realized exactly who it was. It had been years since he’d seen her; he wasn’t sure whether to turn away and pretend like he hadn’t been there or to continue on his path and say nothing. He hesitated, preparing to turn away and disappear. Zac caught one more glimpse of her, a shy smile formed on his lips. “What’re you reading?” He asked, coming up behind her. His stomach turned thinking of every bad reaction he could get from her, but he stayed optimistic.

It's been a couple of rough days for V with all the paparazzi following her and all the bad comments she got from them , so when her manager called and told her she should take the day off Vanessa felt relieved. The only thing that crosses her mind was the beach . That place always made her think positive and kept her calm , so it only took her a couple of minutes to leave the house and get on the beach .The paparazzi were there too , but once she arrived on the beach she drove until she found a quiet place , a place where they couldn't get .

After she was settled on the warm sand Vanessa took out of her bag a still cold bottle of beer and a book she received recently. V loved to feel the warm breeze all over her body and that made her feel completely relaxed . She always used to say to herself that someday she will buy a house on the beach. V opened the beer bottle and took a small sip while reading the first page of the book . Suddenly the sun disappeared from her side and it looked like something was blocking it . Someone ,she said to herself when Zac's familiar voice got to her ears . After taking a long breath she looked up and her face got covered with surprise . It was the first time when she saw the boy after all these years . " It's just a book a fan gave me . " was what Vanessa managed to say with a little voice .

@Miss-Vanessa-H: I love to lay on the beach, read a good book and get lost for a moment . Forgot about everything and just imagine the most amazing things.
