I love this little geometry dude! I tried to use rounder, softer shapes than I usually would to complement their smooth design. I am a sucker for this color palette and poppy graphic highlights; I had a lot of fun with this one. :D

Bruxsa is a Werelupe (Neopet) who lives in a trapper’s tilt in the Haunted Woods of Neopia. A taciturn loner, fiercely independent, estranged from her former pack, the discipline and work ethic of a soldier. She fishes, traps, and trades hides to survive. 

She was born and raised in the harsh, Spartan culture of the Werelupe Burrow pack. As a child, after a paradigm-shaking encounter with a loving family, she left her abusive clan in disgrace. After a rough start, trying to figure out life on her own, she learned how to survive off the land and get by with very little social interaction. When she does need money or other goods, she seeks out bounty hunting work.

As an adult, she met her now-partner Hexwood, a Yurble also living in the Haunted Woods. The unlikely pair slowly became friends after healer Hexwood saved Bruxsa's life (to her stubborn annoyance). They keep separate homes and Bruxsa spends much of her time alone, tending to her trade, but they visit often and trade little gifts. Hexwood's mother Wenweaver loves her like a daughter. Bruxsa's pack is much smaller than it once was, but a Lupe needs a pack, and she protects it ferociously.

When I made my current Neopets account in 2015 -- before I had recovered my older accounts -- one of the first pets I made was Etceterae the Aisha, based on my alien kitty child Etcetera (a.k.a. ETC). I was able to fountain dip them Alien a year later. 💖 While ETC didn't start life as an Aisha, I consider the two designs equally canon.. like alternate dimension versions of the same OC.

I sketched the top image back in 2024 and recently zhuzhed it up a little to add it to ETC's Art Fight profile. (Procreate, iPad Pro, Apple Pencil.) The second image is from Neopets.com, one of Etceterae's customizations.

Etcetera (a.k.a. ETC) was born as an early experiment with needle felting, circa 2009. They've been my desk buddy for a while now! I experimented with giving them a more "realistic" form back in the day. I imagine that their canon form looks more like the needle-felted fella they're based on, but they're kind of liquidy and can bend and wiggle around.

2026 ref sheet created in Procreate on iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. The old ETC doodles were ink pen drawings that were scanned and digitally colored, probably in photoshop.

Been playing Tomodachi Life a lot and decided to make a Neopets island to try and test my face paint skills (and decorating since I want it to look like Neopia Central eventually)

omg yurbles are so precious thanks for drawing one i think there should be more yurbles in this world they can unfurl their curled up ears and the old art faerie yurble showed this really pretty they are a really underrated neopet that need more site characters outside of the tax beast (who isnt even officially a yurble but he looks like one and halloween yurbles dress up as him)

Unfurled Yurble ears are SO CUTE. ;_; the UC grey yurb lives rent free in my brain, precious sad baby. I was thrilled that they made one of the major TVW plot characters a grey yurb!! Ozzy is so baby 🥹
