I was reading a fic on ao3 and I really loved the characterization of choso. He was struggling with trying to be human and wanting to be a brother to yuuji despite being a curse. The reader character explained her power twice, but I thought she just didn't proof read. Some metaphors didn't make sense, but I thought she was just using purple prose.

Then I read another fic. The metaphors were even worse. Some things made such little sense that it took me out of the fic. Todo breathed into his sleeve instead of studying twice. A friend who uses ai to roleplay confirmed what I was worried about.

It's all AI. I feel so cheated. I thought this person had their own interpretation of choso, and they were just using flowery language to sound like what they think an author should be. But now I wonder: how much of this was their vision? Did they write a single word? I've seen plagiarism in fanfics, even caught it twice, but now I have to go into fics looking for tells of AI. 😭😭😭

If yall know any good, human written choso fics, drop them below. I loved seeing choso being shy, unsure, yet incredibly caring. I'd love to read both smut and slow burns with him. Share your thoughts, your headcanons. I need some mind bleach 😩
