so i had this dumb idea and

basically clay terran but in among us

i genuinely and thoroughly believe that my chemical romance's ‘mama’ is one of the best recent works lyrically and musically mostly due to the sheer amount of interpretations i have seen of it over the years. 

is it about a soldier writing home to his mother like the lyrics seem to suggest? is it about a cancer patient dying in his hospital bed like the rest of the album? is it about the anger a teenager directs towards his mother? is it about a child coming out to their homophobic mother? is it about anger towards the establishment? society? life in general?

tl;dr - ‘mama’ by mcr is the most underrated song from the last twenty years

i think the funniest thing in seeing ppl get into mcr in 2020 is their reaction to mama like yes. you will always go apeshit when u hear the opening chords, it’s a fact of life for me and now for u too
