So AEW has this manager named Don Callis who looks like a hotdog wished to be a used car salesman. He's basically the most evil man alive, drafting powerful wrestlers into The Don Callis Family and ensuring they win by any means necessary. One of the main ways he does this is by sneaking his latest golden boy a screwdriver to stab their opponent. What happened almost every single time the screwdriver made an appearance was the following:

heel attempts to stab face with screwdriver

face thwarts the attack, knocks screwdriver out of heel's hands, heel is incapacitated

face picks up the screwdriver and proceeds to have crisis of faith, Callis usually eggs them on

face casts aside screwdriver, but has wasted too much time deliberating, heel recovers, takes the screwdriver, and stabs face with it

heel wins the match because face has been stabbed by a screwdriver

It happened enough times you started to wonder, why doesn't the face just stab the heel with the fucking screwdriver? What is the point of honor if you lose every single time?

You should go buy a screwdriver is what I'm saying
