[over sounds of a bar] Hannah. Um - me again. Um… I, uh, I need you - I need you to book me a flight. Tonight? I need to get home. I’m sorry this is… a late one and a crazy one. Sorry. I - I have to get home. Just - personal card, personal account - it just doesn’t matter. Just - [pause] Call me when you get everything booked. And, um… can you call me a cab while you’re at it? [pause] Thank you, Hannah.

From the inbox of Sarah Medlock:
Art,
How have you been? It’s been a while since we last talked. I hope your work and travels are going well.
I was wondering, will you be back in Oregon for Mary’s high school graduation? It’s not too far off, and I feel like she’d appreciate your presence at the ceremony (though don’t be surprise if she expresses so through snark – it’s kind of her thing, in case you hadn’t noticed).
I’d also strongly encourage that you spend a bit more time with Callie this summer. It’s not really my place, I know, but Art… Callie’s been changing. Getting better, even. It’s hard to explain in an email, you really need to come home and see for yourself. Please think it over.
I attached a file the girls recently shared with me. It’s a home video Callie’s been keeping over the years. I thought you might enjoy seeing it.
– Sarah
PS. Tell Hannah I say hello and that I loved the birthday present she sent.
Sarah,
Good to hear from you too. Work and travels are going well, as usual. I hope all’s well back at home. I’ll make sure to pass your message along to Hannah.
I didn’t realize Callie still had any videos… I’ll take into consideration everything that you wrote.
Thank you for letting me know.

A Yelp review written by Art Craven: [PDF]
O’Sioda’s Pub
O’Sioda’s Pub is exactly what one would expect from any dive bar. It had a sort of dismal atmosphere, and the establishment itself was relatively deserted (although I was there on a Tuesday evening, so that may have something to do with it). There was a pool table in the back and a television playing some sports game up front, but otherwise it was just a regular Irish pub one might find anywhere.
The drinks were good, though, especially the beer. On top of that, they were all reasonably affordable. However, the food menu consisted of little more than appetizers and a few sandwich variations.
It was also inconveniently located. The bar was far away from both my hotel and any form of public transportation, and I probably wouldn’t have stumbled upon it, had I not been driving past on my way into town. This is unfortunate, as I believe a more central location would greatly increase their business.
I would visit O’Sioda’s again if I happened to be in the area and wasn’t in need of a meal.

Won’t you come into the garden, Maud?
A garden and outdoors themed, highly speculative playlist for some point later in MisselArch (but I couldn’t resist making it now).
Also yes, I realize that’s a Tennyson quote, but I like it anyway.
Listen on 8tracks.
Episode 34: “Eye of the Tiger”
Robin watches Mary, Declan, and Phoebe helping Callie overcome her newfound fear of cats (because every webseries needs a training montage!).
