I’m working on beefing up my portfolio with speculative commercial work, especially book covers. For this cover I had the idea of a female archer leaping through a stylised meadow like something from my 1970s children’s books.

The only reason why he keeps his human age at 25 is because once you turn 26 you can't have Madrid's youth transportation card which is only 8€ per month. After you turn 26 you have to pay between 21 and 53 €. He's cheap and a pícaro if there ever was one.

Spain AND Romano DON'T PLAY about Raffaella Carrà. If you ever say anything bad about her (who would ever tho?) you're done for.

somehow instead of saying "as a treat", I've started using the phrase "for morale", as if my body is a ship and its crew, and I (the captain) have to keep us in high spirits, lest we suffer a mutiny in the coming days.

and so I will eat this small block of fancy cheese, for morale. I will take a break and drink some tea, for morale. I will pick up that weird bug, for morale.

but we also have bears. which are listed as the most dangerous in russia. and russia also has wolves

what makes an estonian wolf more dangerous than a russian wolf? if a russian wolf crosses the border is it now more dangerous? what if it stands with one leg in saatse and one leg in pskov oblast? is it half dangerous. if i yell "tra küll" at a russian wolf is that like its sleeper agent activation phrase?

Given that Finland has both wolves and bears but the map shows some kind of deer or elk I assume it's actually about which animal is the deadliest? Elk kill people not by being dangerous but by running in front of cars and getting into crashes. But then again, do wolves actually kill people in Estonia?

Estonia also has deer and elk. The map is absolute garbage. Elk also have killed people here by running in front of the car (most recent accident in December).

There hasn't been a wolf attack with human victims in a while in Estonia. However, we have seen an increase in wolves attacking dogs (most recently in March) and livestock.
