[18:55] it was a deathly silence in the house as the eyes on you burned into you. ah, it was gojo with his stupid blue eyes.
“what do you want for dinner?” you asked breaking the silence with a sweet smile. there was no response. you swiftly turned to him but flinched back when you’re met with his face.
“what the fuck?! a little warning gojo!” you squealed out in an embarrassingly high pitched squeak. he didn’t respond as his eyes searched yours for something.
oh...he knew that you knew and you sigh before pulling off his sunglasses really quick. the crystal orbs widened for a split second yet it didn’t falter as he held your stare.
“is this about your little fuck buddy you have?” the question flowed easily out of you, it irked him. he was expecting you to lash out at him like everyone else yet here you were so composed as if he had done nothing wrong.
how wrong he was.
you were not foolish to think that you had him all to yourself despite being in a relationship with for two years. on the contrary, you were quite aware of how gojo’s relationships worked; he doesn’t do relationships.
how sad, his ego has been hurt by little old you. you weren’t like them naive little girls thinking they were his true love and candy in his eye. in fact, gojo had this thirst that couldn’t be quenched especially for sweet girls.
“you don’t seem surprised nor hurt by her,” dryly comments gojo who was surprised by your indifference to his infidelity. he couldn’t wrap his head around it, you, his wife was not upset with him.
“of course not sweetheart, we may be married but I do not love you like them foolish little girls,” you chuckled. “in fact, I always knew you had someone else but fortunately for me we married out of need not love, that is our reality.”
you shrugged as you leaned against the counter, the dress you were wearing easily shows the bump you have. it was a security; the gojo family couldn’t do anything as you were the only one that satoru had kept around all this time compared to all his other toys; visible by the fact you were married.
“i married you for stability and money,” you shrugged returning to the task at looking what was in the house for dinner. hmmm…perfect! katsu curry it is- one of your cravings at the moment. “ha! you’re unbelievable”
satoru laughed behind you, his hands slipping around your waist leaning closer. you figured out long ago that satoru loved when you weren’t needy; yes, he enjoyed it a need for him but it was the reason why his side relationships didn’t last long- he got irritated by the constant needs of them and the constant asking if he was going to leave you.
as if! satoru married you for a reason and he wasn’t going to let you go. he kissed your neck, pressing against you. “you really are something,” he said to you, eyeing up the ingredients scrunching up his face. there was no sweet treats in sight!?
“satoru! stop it you dog,” you chortled, amused at how he was acting: you were 32 weeks, no chance for him. “go and shower, dinner will be ready and there’s dessert in the fridge for after.” you assured him knowing he’d throw a fit; he loved your baked goods being the biggest sweet tooth about.
it wasn’t long before he peeled himself off you begrudgingly making his way to the bathroom complaining. you rolled your eyes at his childish attitude but continued with your task at hand; there was no space for feelings.
feelings in a relationship with gojo satoru was never a good idea; you seen plenty when growing up with him. it ended in tears and an aching heartbreak, that did not interest you at all. you were only because it was convenient; nothing was allowed.
well…that’s what you told yourself.
