My Laurence design (again)

Yep, I redid a redraw because my style changed again. This time I focused on adding details, EVEN NAILS, things I usually don’t put in my drawings 😭

Once again, Laurence is my guinea pig for improving my art skills.

Ok, like I said last time, my design is based on the Research Hall statue. The stoles reference Willem, and this time I also got a bit of inspiration from the White Church Attire outfit, it shows in the gloves and sleeves.

I ditched the usual loose sleeves from the Choir because I’M SO DONE DRAWING LOOSE SLEEVES AAAA I’M GOING TO LOSE MY MIND AAAAA (the consequences of drawing the Choir outfit for so long).

Since Laurence’s skull clearly looks like it’s wearing that weird cape the Choir has on their backs, I decided to add it too! And lastly, the bandages. Laurence is always doing blood transfusions, so he has dirty bandages and his veins are starting to show.

My Laurence has his eyes closed because he’s a man who seems calm and serene, but deep down his mind is on fire, screaming 24/7, trying to figure out how to fix the mess he caused.

That’s it, let’s pray my style doesn’t change and this drawing doesn’t make me cringe next month.

The Good Hunter noticed that Gehrman was feeling pretty depressed, so they organized a surprise party and brought Laurence along.

I think Gehrman was just someone prone to unshakeable obsession. Probably one of the first people to begin borderline worshipping Laurence. Laurence wasn't terribly fond of it, he'd never fall for someone he couldn't see as an equal, and such kept him at a fair distance forevermore. And from that distance, the first hunter's devotion never wavered.
