a little rant about dead poet’s society tiktok:

a tiktok came up on my fyp about how this one girl chose cameron over charlie and her comments were filled with things like “bestie i hope you’re okay” and “i’m hoping for a speedy recovery” and “girl what-“ this quite actually pissed me off. i’ll admit i wasn’t fond of cameron too, but does that mean that i’d tell someone something like that ?! someone openly told them that they were wrong like no sit down it’s their opinion not yours.

yes, cameron has had his moments, but most people based their hate off of the last scene where cameron had finked. like put yourself in his shoes before you tell someone you hope they have a nice recovery like what kind of person would say that to someone ??

update on “crown of flowers”: i showed it to my english teacher and she said to cut out verses and keep the chorus, bridge, and outro for the sake of the project, but she said it was beautiful!

what i didn’t tell her was that it was in fact written about a fictional boy who i cry over almost everyday from the pov of another fictional boy who i also cry over like everyday.

edit: i also changed the outro completely for the project, but if i ever do like record the song then it’ll be what it was originally in the other post

The swirling emotions and the future ahead

A life waiting for us full of tranquility

In her eyes, there’s a destiny I can’t wait to hold

In her smile, there’s a brightness with no compare

She is like the sun beaming down after a rainy day

Radiating warmth and a sense of comfort

In her smile, there is something familiar that I can’t help but long for

And she fills me with both relief and joy

The simple thought of her makes my heart sing

Yet she also brings a feeling of uncertainty, a fear of what will happen when the story ends

But to her melodic voice and beautiful thoughts, I cling
