• Perpetua is burdened with lonesome and challenges with becoming the New Papa of the Band Ghost and the Ministry. Perpetua is plagued by visions of a mysterious woman who appears to be another vampire just like him. After finally discovering the newly love of his life, his Jenny, his Vampire Bride, more upcoming battles are on the horizon. In this story, we see a Vampire Papa V Perpetua fighting through family troubles and vampire hunters. A story about how Perpetua and his Vampire Bride, Jenny, came to be the saviors of the Ministry and of their everlasting love as soulbats.. 🦇

• Backstory •
On every possible occasion, it seemed like Mary Goore and Lizzie Lane had always just missed each other. Despite their shared love of graveyards, loud music, and horror movies, Boston was a big city, with a big enough scene that the two had never crossed paths before.
‘Sick hearse,’ Mary might’ve thought as they passed by Lizzie’s baby on the way to a rehearsal. ‘Neat,’ perhaps Lizzie mumbled to herself as she scanned a staple-covered telephone pole and spotted a freshly-pinned Repugnant flyer. But that was about it.
Until Lizzie’s boyfriend dragged her to a local club to support his buddy’s band, which was opening for a death metal group whose logo looked a little familiar.
Just after the second opener’s set, Lizzie was spat out by the crowd near the front of the stage, her arms full of her boyfriend’s stuff while he disappeared somewhere in the pit. This definitely was not happening again, she’d make sure of it.
That was when Mary Goore finally laid eyes on her. As he emerged from behind the curtain, he was immediately drawn to that scowling, pissed off little rage demon with a dolled up face and meticulously crafted hair, who looked like she might snap if one more sweaty, half-naked man elbowed her in the back again.
Despite the silver in her face and the tattoos coloring her arms, she definitely wasn’t part of his usual crowd. She looked too neat, too pristine. He could have fun with that. Her eyes snapped up at him in a glare as she felt his gaze on her, only to be met with a crooked, maybe just a little charming grin underneath the hair, the blood, and the greasepaint. She really tried not to smile back, turning her face away just as a smirk pulled at her red-painted lips, her cheeks soon rivaling in color.
The set was almost perfect, other than Mary’s muscle memory failing to kick in while they plucked their guitar strings, too busy scanning the crowd to see if that girl was enjoying herself yet. The sight of her furrowed brow as she was caught in the shine of the tinted stage lights made him lose focus, which his bandmates could chew his ass out for later. He made a show of locking eyes with her as he growled out obscenities detailing his love of desecrating corpses, making faces at her just to see that smile again. She noticed, and in his mind, it worked. It was a sweet attempt, at least.
45 minutes came and went, and Mary practically leapt off the stage as the crowd cleared out of the venue. Somewhere between putting his Gibson down and thanking whoever came up to him for their support, Mary lost sight of the girl in the front row. Surely, she couldn’t have left that quickly. Chicks usually can’t get enough of him after he pulls moves like that. But she was gone.
Dejectedly, Mary eventually found himself in conversation with a leftover group of musicians: his bassist, a couple of guitarists, a drummer, and somebody’s cousin or something.
“Alright man, we’re gonna head out. Liz is getting pissy,” the outlier told the drummer as they said their goodbyes, but not before he gave Mary a dirty look. Gears turned in Mary’s head as a slight possibility dawned on him.
“Who was that?” Mary turned to the drummer.
“James. He’s a friend. I think you were hitting on his girlfriend,” he scoffed lightheartedly, slapping Mary’s arm with the back of his hand.
“Oh.”
Mary paused a moment.
“Y’know what kinda gigs she usually goes to?”
Even if she wasn’t on the market, getting to know her a little better couldn’t hurt. And maybe if he was lucky, James would get lost too. With that, Mary’s mind was set.

Good lord this was way longer than I meant it to be… but it was fun to write 😌 I might continue this storyline where I’m leaving off here if I can think of where I want it to go. Expect more art for this ship than anything else because the storyline lives organically in my Mind Palace.

Her Background:
Jenny was a mortal before she turned her life as a vampire for her long lost lover, Perpetua. In her mortal life, Jenny was abandoned by her strong catholic family for her interests in the macabre and.. vampires to be specific.. little did she know after the story of her becoming a vampire herself, that she came from a bloodline of Catholic Vampire Hunters, making that a big sole reason as to why her family decided to cut her out of their lives…

Papa V Perpetua (Vampetua):
He/Him/“The Creature” • Papa V, 5th Papa to headline the Band Ghost and the Ministry. The most ‘Vampire’ out of all of his bloodline. Prowls the Ministry at night with his Wife. Lives in the Ministry Crypt.
His Background:
Papa V Perpetua was born a full bred Vampire to his father and mother, Nihil and Sister Imperator. However, with Papa Primo having jealousy which led to resentment to his brother Nihil, he decided to take evil vengeance on his own brother. One date night in New Orleans, Sister Imperator was placed on a sleep vampiric spell by Primo after bumping into him in an alleyway while she was also Pregnant with Perpetua and Frater. He unfortunately ended up kidnapping the children for a certain amount of time until Sister Imperator was able to retrieve her children at an orphanage in good condition. That’s when she had decided to let Marika Psaltarian care for the twins. Perpetua would later grow older and move away for a life on his own until he was called back to the Ministry by Psaltarian & Marika to be appointed the new Papa. The first full bred vampire to take the lead. With such an unusual and unbalanced childhood, Perpetua grew insecure and shy of himself. It was hard for him to make connections and of course, never did he thought he would find the one and only vampire lady who would make his cold heart, warm… 🥀💜

Their love story:
While Jenny and Perpetua both had visions of each other long before they both even knew each other existed, each and every vision and day led to the intensity of bringing these two soul bats together. Jenny had lived in New Orleans, Louisiana before she was turned Immortal as a living dead vampire but one humid night in the summer in Texas after his final ritual of his first tour, Perpetua had found Jenny slumbering away. Casting her in a vampiric sleep spell, he had brought her to the Ministry Graveyard, where she had wakened and found herself in the wings of her one and true undead love, Vampetua. The man she had seen in her eyes before she saw him right before herself…No fear and no sense of dread ran through Jenny’s veins, but love and just wanting to be with her immortal love forever. After a night of total romance between these two love bats as well as love making, Jenny had offered her sad and broken life away to be in Happier arms for eternal with her Vampire, Papa V Perpetua…
