Something caught in my mind lately. Comics!Impulse, in his multiverse hunt to get back to/find his Kon while he's on Gem World, comes across cartoon!Young Justice. In particular, in season one and there's Conner. Who doesn't have his Bart or Tim (no, he doesn't care that Dick Grayson is Robin, he's not Tim). And decides that he needs to help out a bit.

Bart is Concerned (tm) and maybe a little offended. Both at the lack of the rest of the trio for Conner, and wtf what do you mean Young Justice is an actually sanctioned Team created to keep the kids busy? Where are the baseball games for the universe? The dead Santa? Crazy big titty ladies? The Just-Us?

At least he can tease the fuck out of Wally while he's helping Kon

Kon and Bart being foster guardians in Smallville specifically for teens with powers or teens in their ranks in crisis could go so hard.

Never parents, but man, they turn into so many people's special guys.

They're never going to let another teen hero become homeless again.

But Superboy and Impulse dating it is literally the reverse; how the hell did Impulse of all people pull Superboy?

Guys, I think it's time we as a collective accept that not all of our OTPs are going to the farmer's market.

Konbart is, though. Farm boy Kon-El and "raised by grandparent aged people" Bart Allen are definitely going to the farmer's market.

Even more so, Bart learnt that street markets are a weekly thing in many countries and sometimes zips there just to buy something he likes.
