This weekend in Santa Cruz was jaw-droppingly beautiful (that's a word now, you're welcome). My body literally ached with how much I want to live another life simultaneously there. It's so weird how much I long for my hometown, all while loving my life in SB. I got these @paigejeans at this swap meet thing basically for free. But then the knees were all baggy for some reason... (maybe because they were basically free? Just a thought). So I tried cutting the knees with instructions from #Pinterest. It looked weird. Took them to @emilyst.john and she was like a ripped jeans mastermind. She told me what to do and then it just all came together - now they are my favorite jeans. Yay for DIY success!! Oh, and I am kind of on the raw hem bandwagon now, because it's way easier than making myself find and go to a alteration place. And I'm short. So thanks fashion trends! #jeansrant
Had a great time this weekend playing tourist in LA. My favorite thing is exploring nearby cities with friends. Can't think of a better way to spend a weekend. Next up: Santa Cruz once again with the oldest of friends. #cantwait (at Griffith Observatory)
