It's almost time for Beltane,
I feel like I should make a wreath for the shop, the one on my door is so lovely already.
And your arm felt nice wrapped âround my shoulder, and I had a feeling that I belonged.
um this song is the best song in the worldÂ
Today was lovely, you see.
I felt today was needed to just be in my garden, and make sure all the flowers are happy.Â
Who lost their phone?
He quirked both brows. âWell nothing to worry about actually.â He shrugged. âI normally donât believe in rumors. But sometimes I should, you know.â He added. âThere are still many people who might want to hurt me. Especially this one lawyer. But I can deal with himâŠâ Even Abbott didnât believe his own words.
"I have some smudge sticks in the shop if you need some of those bad vibes cleared from your bar or house, or wherever." she dug in her purse in case she had one there also. Mira always had a need to try to help people clear negative things in their lives and be happier. "There's always things you can do to help ease things along better dear."
Who lost their phone?
"Oh businessâ fine. Iâve just been worried about some stuff." Abbott shrugged. "Rumors I guess, nothing big." Abbottâs face frowned a little. "Anyways⊠What about the tea shop? Iâm terribly sorry I havenât appeared there lately. Iâve been quite busy."
"No, no it's fine. Business'll do well no matter what." she said letting her face light up with a smile and then dim when she saw his frown. "Rumors? Hopefully not too bad?" her voice filled with concern over her friend. "Rumors only want to be the truth when they come from spiteful people."
Who lost their phone?
Abbott put the phone on his pocket. âWell then⊠I donât like to keep other people things so Iâll have to go with the announcement thing.â He said with a crooked smile. âHello Mira. Iâm doing well, what about you?â
"That sounds like a lovely idea dear. I'm doing well also." Mira said as she smiled at him. "I'm sure someone will see it at the bar, how's business by the way?" she asked putting her bag on her shoulder.
Who lost their phone?
"It seems like someone just lost their phone." He said as he saw a phone on the floor. Who would lost their phone? He picked it. "Who the hell lost their phone must be missing it so I shall look for them. Maybe Iâll put an announcement on the bar or somethingâŠ"
Mira shuffled through the pockets in her bag. "Nope, don't believe it is mine dear. But I'll offer my help if you need it." she said smiling at him. "How are you Abbott, dear?"
Well, today was just lovely. Wasn't it?
Iâm Ariel, its nice to meet you Miss. Mira. Â Oh yes they all sound amazing, how much do they cost?
That's a very pretty name, is your sign water? *smiles and laughs a little* Well, if I'm running the register it's if you get some tea you get a little something to go along with it. If it fancies you I'll read your palm while you're there too. Maddie is about the same I presume, Jefferson though I'm not too sure about what all he does but he keeps the negativity out so he does well.

âNot really,â Sinclair answered honestly, taking a step forward to browse the various bins of loose tea leaves, herbs, and flower petals. As an afterthought, she added, âNever actually.â The walls were a colorful variety of bins and kettles. A calm settled warmly in the blondeâs chest at the combination of earthy scents; except rather than calming the high-strung woman, it set her on edge. She did not like to be effected by the outside world, and she would not let her tiredness and the shopâs homey feel dull her senses.
Sinclair carefully monitored the movements of the blonde, who appeared to flow, rather than walk, around the room. A small creature bounded out from behind the counter and Scarletâs eyebrows furrowed tightly, âTo the vermin or to the tea?â The harsh words left her mouth before she could reign them in, her prickly exterior rearing itself at the vulnerable position she placed herself in.Â
She chuckled a little and bent down to pet the fox. "Well, I guess I should say both. It would be terrible if you were allergic to anything." Mira could tell that she was out of her element. "Now's a good time to try and see if you like tea though, it's actually really healthy for you. There are plenty of alternatives to all the caffeine and sugars."
Her Book of Shadows was rather unique, she kept all of her tea recipes in it. It was like a cookbook of magic. Letting her fingers glide through the pages she sought out the page she needed, her dream page. It was full of blends that helped ease someone in their sleep and make it easier. "Here, take you a seat and if you see any cakes or whatnot go ahead and get you one. I've gotta make some more anyway." she said pointing to one of the plush chairs strewn across the shop. She got one of her sachets and labeled the tag 'Sinclair's Dream Blend' and started gathering the ingredients. After putting in the last bit of jasmine flower she wrote down the instructions on the tag. The fox climbed up on the pillow beside the register and she scratched her head lovingly. She sat the bag on the counter and bent down to get a pillow filled with lavender and sandalwood. "Alright, let's see here. Just get a teaspoon of leaves per mug and use almost boiling water, you don't want to scald your tongue." she said with a smile.

Remedies || Mira & Sinclair
Sinclair was beyond tired, and if she didnât give her liver a chance to recoup after her weekend bender, she might end up in the hospital before she found a good nightâs rest. That was not an option. She was a police officer, and though she may have clocked in less than sober more than anyone could guess, she could not chance having her issues become public knowledge. Not to mention, she worked for more than just the city and needed to retain her authority.Â
The tea shop was her last hope. Her mother, the weak woman that she was, swore by the stuff. For colds, for digestive problems, for sleeping problems. Hell, the woman had claimed that tea could give someone good fortune and solve relationship problems. It was a load of shit, if Scarlet had anything to say about it.Â
And yet, here she was. At desperationâs door.Â
Entering she was immediately greeted by a young woman who certainly looked like she would sell the supposed cure-all. âTea,â Sinclair stated, before kicking herself inwardly. The lack of sleep and too much alcohol was getting to her. âDo you have anything to help with sleep?â Scarlet hoped that it didnât make a difference as to why she was not sleeping.Â
She could definitely tell that there was something wrong by her body language and the tiredness showed in her voice. "Well, I know I can certainly fix you up a nice blend. Are you much of tea drinker?" she asked looking through the tea leaves and herbs. Walking over to the counter she got out a big leather bound book and started flipping through the pages looking for the right thing. Since she found her calling in tea she discovered a whole new part of the hobby. Her parents were strictly involved in just selling tea while Mira was a child of the earth, or a witch as her father so loving put it. Either way her parents were still supportive in their own way of her chosen lifestyle. She made her living selling tea and reading palms and they were fine with that."Are you allergic?" she said looking at the red fox trailing behind her.

After a day of lounging around the shop mostly, and dusting off the tea pots Mira was about to close up the shop. It had been slow all day and all she had gotten done was making more tea blends. Taking a break she sat down at one of the tables with her late night cup of tea when Sinclair came through the door. "Oh well, hello there. Can I help you with anything?" she said looking up from her cup and seeing her.
