let’s talk littles and pull-ups!!! while diapers are supposed to be used, for the most part, pull-ups mainly exist as a “just in case” option, something there to catch any accidents that happen before a little can reach the potty! if they’re used, the little gets a “better luck next time!”, and if they’re dry, they get a “good job!!”
some littles very much want to learn how to use the potty like a big kid!! they try their hardest to stay dry,, but, maybe they get really distracted while playing, or maybe they keep pushing their potty break further and further back so they don’t have to stop having fun and then- oops, it looks like the design has faded,,,
or, how about the littles who like their diapers, thank you very much, but their big puts them in pull-ups for one reason or another (maybe they’ve ran out of diapers, maybe they need to be big soon, so they have to ease up, or maybe it’s Potty Training Time) their big tells them the rules, but there are just sooo manyy and they’re too little to rememberr, so they end up using their pull-up one too many times and end up with a pull-up so leaky they might as well have worn no protection at all
and, of course, there are the littles who Need pull-ups, but wanna be a big kid, and big kids don’t wear pull-ups, so why should they? when their big isn’t looking, they take it off and hide it,,, of course, big kids also don’t need to be reminded about potty breaks, so they ignore them just to prove that they’re too big for all that!! eventually, when their face is wet from tears and their pants are wet from their accident, they might finally admit that possibly maybe pull-ups aren’t the worst idea,, (which would be a great admission! if only they remembered it the next time they have to wear a pull-up)
