This is me while my tan is developing.

My spray tan experience.

I had my first spray tan three months ago, and I have now embarked on my second spray tan experience.

You walk into the beauty salon,you will be met by the receptionist who will make you fill in a health care form, unless you have had a spray tan with them before, this consists of pre existing skin conditions and explaining your skin type.

Next you will be led into a room and will be left alone to get undressed, strip down to just your panties and this will ensure that no one will notice tan lines on an everyday basis. You will be given things called sticky feet, they stick on to the bottom of your feet so that they won’t get stained by the tan. You will also be given a hair net which protects your hair from the spray.

Now, this part differs dependant on whether you are being tanned by a person or a machine. Personally I prefer being tanned by a person.

You will then step into the area where they are going to tan you.

Then it begins.

You will have to rub moisturiser in to your elbows, knees and ankles also put barrier cream on to your nails.

They will spray a cold liquid from a device which uses a compressor making it loud, you can’t always hear what the tan technician is saying. When they ask you to stand in different positions.

After it’s finished your tan will develop to be really dark. You have to avoid all sports and sweat inducing activities for the next 8 hours or until you have showered it off. The next day when you shower it off it will still be really dark compared to until it’s been washed again. Don’t scrub or use shower gel, just use water.

Don’t rub your skin and when you get out of the shoulder, pat yourself dry.

I'm not sure how to use Tumblr...
