What if Yuichiro Hyakuya had been born a girl?
Hi, I'm Miss Shanoa — I write fem!Yuu.
I'm restarting my Tumblr for Who She is Within, my MikaYuu series (194k+ words, 4 arcs, 8 years).
The what-if: What if Yuichiro Hyakuya had been born a girl?
I'm retelling all of Seraph of the End. The core plot still happens — Shibuya, Nagoya, Osaka — but I'm writing it differently. Same major events, new execution: rewritten scenes, different dialogue, and a lot of moments the manga skipped. Plus a full prequel of her life before the apocalypse.
It's canon-faithful, with original scenes woven in. If the manga ending doesn't fit her, I'll branch off when we get there.
I'm doing it for one reason: I wanted to know how Guren, Mika, and the squad would love, protect, and fight alongside Yuu if she was her — still loud, still loyal, still self-sacrificial, just female and a little more witty, charming and suave :)
About my Yuu: Early on she has short dark hair with purple tones (like in my art). When she fully accepts herself as a girl, she grows it out long. She doesn't bear visible seraph marks on her neck — the seraph lives inside her, as in canon.
Read on AO3 — ShanoaWarrior:
Arc I: Who She Is Within
Arc II: Shibuya
Arc III: Nagoya
Arc IV: Osaka (ongoing)
If you love MikaYuu, slow-burn canon retellings that add depth instead of changing the destination, and a Yuu who is 100% herself — welcome.
