What an amazing day to be alive! Thankful for all my many blessings. I treated myself to flowers and a yummy smelling candle. It’s good to treat yourself well. 🩷

This wonderful thing happened this past weekend. I’m gaining a son in law that loves my beautiful daughter so much. Again an amazing time to be alive! I am always thankful for answered prayers. 🩵

Good Friday! What a great day to be alive. I’m fighting and recovering from something. Not sure if it’s the flu or just the nasty germs in our world. One thing that I have discovered and enjoyed is HBO’s The Gilded Age.

If you are a fan and are looking forward to season 3, hit me up and we can discuss. I am so enjoying this show and I don’t find a lot out there that I give much attention to.

Sleepless in Seattle

I'm trying to catch a little shut eye before I head off to Sea-Tac tonight and go home. I'm taking the red-eye back and planning on working a half day when I get there. Hopefully adrenaline and Starbucks will get me through the day. Since I'll only get about four hours of uninterrupted sleep on the plane I was planning on getting a good nap in this afternoon. Not happening- I'm probably too afraid of over sleeping and then I'd really be in a mess! The reason for my visit is a good one, I'm caring for my mother. I do visit several times a year and try to do helpful things like cooking and such but this is the first time I've been full time caregiver in a while. Mother had another stroke a couple of years ago and has lost even more of her independence. I'm truly amazed at what my dear brother does for her daily. He is my hero! Speaking of my brother, he is coming back from a week long conference and training for his job. This is the first time in five years that he had a little "free time". He is the constant caregiver to our mother. He gets a little help but nothing compares to his 24/7 commitment to her. Plus he has a full time job of counselor and case manager to many people. He is a true warrior for others. My hat is off to him in more ways than one. I think I'm going to set my alarm and try to get a little rest before I need to whip something up for dinner. Mom and her pup, Louie are taking their afternoon nap so I better get busy!
