Hi everyone. Ami has deleted her online shops that still used her old username. She sincerely apologizes for any offense it has caused and we at Team MOAMT apologize it has taken so long. We’ve been working on this for several months and she has been in contact with Society6 and Redbubble to change the names, but since their policy does not allow this, removing them was the best option. Ami is a young artist who identifies as bisexual who expressed herself differently when she was younger and regrets speaking this way.

Ami lives in Tamapulas, Mexico and if you give it a Google, you’ll see there aren’t as many resources available to her as many of us have. This has taken awhile to figure out since this was her main source of income, but it was decided it was best to shut the accounts down, than cause any more offense or harm to anyone. 

The last thing we want are for any of our LGBTQA followers to feel their concerns are not important to us. We hope you all understand.

it’s alright to draw silly from time-to-time, but if you really want to go into the industry, *why* would you put your nsfw/suggestive artwork on your main art blog that you use as a portfolio (i assume she is)? especially when she wants to create media that’s aimed for children?

keep it to yourself. and if you HAVE to share it, put it on another blog that’s separate from your main one so your name is attached to it. not saying if you draw mature things you’ll never make it in the industry (a lot of artists can say so), but you really need to consider your image.

do you really want professionals finding your non-con, shotacon porn when you apply for a job or when you try to network? probably not.

i understand your point and i agree with you. i don't think it's really appropriate for her blog (which again, i'm guessing it's intended to be her portfolio and showcase of everything that she's done). 

and about the second thing...i don't know. unfortunately, i'm not really educated about how those laws work (it's something i need to read up on later). i know on y!gallery, if you get caught breaking their underage rule, one of the consequences is that a ISP & law enforcement report gets filed.

i don't know if tumblr does the same but tumblr will probably delete her blog and give her a slap on the wrist. if it's serious enough, a report will probably get filed (but again, not totally sure).

i love dark humor as the next person, but i never get a sense that these characters are supposed to be awful people. they aren't shown as being awful people. and i get the same thing out of her webcomic too. i don't find it funny. i don't know, maybe we have a different sense of humor or something. 

so instead of laughing at the fact that they're awful, we're supposed to laugh at their abuse, and that is two different things.

yes, not every story has to have a moral lesson, no shit. i enjoy a lot of stories and shows that don't have a lesson attached to it. however, when the characters are shitty, they're shitty, and the audience knows. in ami case, it's not expressed enough.

but ami keeps expressing that these characters are terrible people but i don't see that. all i see are characters picking on each other because it's cute and quirky lol :3 uwu if they're so evil and terrible like she said, why are they not being reprimanded for their actions? i don't see her webcomic getting any better based off of this either.

i think one of the biggest issues with moamt is that they rushed out with it way too fast and didn't give it enough time or thought.

iirc, the whole moamt thing started in january and the 'official blog' started in march. not saying that ideas can't be developed in months but they're trying to pitch this to networks like Nick and CN. stop rushing and take your time. 

the only thing i know about the plot that ‘it’s about a cop and her bear…and get this: it’s DIVERSE!!! REPRESENTATION!!’ that means nothing to me, and i'm saying this as a queer woc. it reminds me of the arkh project and you all saw what happened with that.

and i still get nothing from a poorly animated trailer. plus, i know nothing about the staff or their past work. some of the staff member's sites/portfolios don't even come up under google searches. who am i funding too? going off ami's webcomic, i really don't have any hope for the writing of this project. i can probably guess that the humor is going to fall flat and the 'representation' is going to be awful stereotypes.
