Outsiders 2003 re-printed
Random villain: *successfully disarmed both Nightwing and Robin (Tim Drake) leaving both their weapons on the ground*
Robin and Nightwing: *quickly pick back up the weapons closest to each of them, but Tim ends up with Nightwings escrima sticks and Dick is left holding Robins bo staff*
Villain: Ha! You may be good, good enough to rearm yourself in a matter of seconds even, but you idiots rely to heavily on one weapon. Your at a disadvantage without them, and now I have the upper hand!
Nightwing: *wordlessly snaps the bo staff into two sticks with the click of a button*
Villain: Uh...
Robin: *grinning, twists the escrima sticks together to form a bo staff*
Villain: ....Fuck
there is always some fucking laundry and dust and some other shit
Jason: *drumming fingers seriously as he stares at the batcomputer security cam*
Steph: *from the couch, where she’s eating chips* any change yet??
Jason: *slightly horrified* no. Not one.
Dick: what . . . are you doing?
Steph: three days ago we switched out Tim’s coffee with decaf
Jason: we thought he might get some sleep for once
Steph: but it’s like he ain’t even noticed.
Jason: *throwing hands up in frsutration* it’s two fucking am and he’s still studying in the kitchen. He doesn’t even LIKE studying
Dick:
Dick: I hate to say it, but—
Jason: *horrified* no
Steph: absolutely not
Dick: —have you considered that it was . . . never the caffeine?
Jason: *stares blankly at camera, which shows Tim finishing a stack of paperwork, calmly taking a sip of coffee, and grabbing another stack* are we sure he’s not a meta. Did we have him tested. How confident are we
Dick:
Steph: OH MY GOD DID YOU NEVER HAVE HIM TESTED??
What do you mean “chat” is now referring to ChatGPT and not twitch chat? What? What? What the fuck? No?
When I address chat I am speaking to a presumed Greek chorus of real human people shitposting on their lunch break, not a machine that devours lakes to covert electricity into slop.
jason is right where he wants to be don’t save him
My sweet boy
*bored at a gala*
Tim: what do you think was the most insane shit you used to do at the league?
Damian: …like for training or for fun?
Tim: you were allowed fun?
Damian: *shrug* we made up games.
Tim: ok, so what was the most unhinged game?
Damian: hmm… real life operation was pretty wild.
Tim:
Tim: fucking what.
-in the car ride home-
Jason, slightly drunk: well ya’see we figured out that i’d always come back- m’fuckin immortal or whatever the fuck,
Damian: and even if he wasn’t, we usually played it right next to the lazarus pit as a backup, so we could always tip him in if there was an emergency.
Jason: -yeah! so i used to just- used to just eat shit. and then after like an hour to let whatever i ate travel through my body a bit, they’d all cut me open and see who could get it all out with tweezers.
Damian: it was hard, because he kept somehow swallowing constantly-activated taser probes, so we actually would get buzzed if we fucked up.
Jason: *smug* i was a fuckin’ genius at comin up with educational games for you kids.
Damian: it did teach us a lot about anatomy.
Tim:
Bruce, frantically undoing his window: i’m going to throw up-
Typical night of patrol lol

AO3 Reading Tracker 2025
Twitter has been ticking me off lately so I'm gonna start posting about my spreadsheet here!!
This is my third year tracking all the fics I read on AO3 through a spreadsheet and I finally feel like I've got the hang of it.
This is the general idea of it. There's a column for each month and an extra column at the end for the total reads. The only new things this year are the tags column, and my choice to be more specific with the relationship tags (which essentially means that I'm not choosing one or two main tags anymore, I'll be adding all relevant relationship tags.)
I'm still not decided on what my monthly stats page will look like. 2024's was alright but I ended up making so many changes and having to go back and fix 4+ months each time.
This is the general idea. I'm still not satisfied with how everything sat on the pages, and I know that I'll be picking a different accent colour for it. I'll likely add a section for general tags. Not sure what else (if anything.)
So yeah. Just thought I'd throw this out there, oh and for future reference,,, It's the 24th of January and I've only read 40 fics this year so far! It's a massive drop from last year so I must record it haha.
January Summary!
A very late summary post because I procrastinated sitting down to do this by playing Palia. I'm committed to adding every month to this post so here we go!
+ Summary Doc now has THREE columns per page!
(Highlights censored because they are reviews and nobody wants to know what I think. Trust me.)
Focused screenshots (because bigger shots are blurry)
January was very tame, all things considered! Spent a lot more time in my 'crime podcast slump'.
To absolutely nobody's surprise, I completely lost track of posting :/ I will now be posting all of the months along with the yearly summary I just finished putting together.
February Summary!
Focused screenshots.
Nothing to note in February.
March Summary!
One thing to note here. This is when I really started falling behind on the summary lol.
Focused screenshots.
I've left one of my little reviews in here to clarify my feelings towards a certain fic. I've left it uncensored because it spends so much time at the top of my reads; i really enjoy it, but that is mostly due to the fact that i put my blinders on and only see what i want to see.
Nothing to note in March.
April Summary!
Focused screenshots.
I packed up all my worldly belongings and moved to a different state in April - of course my reads went down!
May Summary!
Focused screenshots.
Nothing to note in May.
June Summary!
Focused screenshots.
Nothing to note in June.
I've hit the image limit in this post, onto the next one!
July Summary!
Focused screenshots.
Fun fact! I moved states AGAIN in July. Not sure if it shows but it happened!
August Summary!
Focused screenshots.
I'm actually terrified that I've forgotten to censor something but it's literally fine! Maybe?
Nothing to note in August.
September Summary!
Focused screenshots.
It has become apparent through this activity that I will not be adding the review section to my summary doc in 2026. I've totally started the summary doc for 2026! It's almost May what am I doing?
October Summary!
Focused screenshots.
Nothing to note in October.
November Summary!
Focused screenshots.
Nothing to note in November.
Damn! photo limit again :(
This is the last one, I swear!
December Summary!
Focused screenshots
Nothing to note in December.
2025 Yearly Summary!!
With liberal censorship because I feel so much shame for literally everything.
Focused screenshots.
Next page!
Focused screenshots.
Last page!
Focused screenshots.
This isn't the most detailed I've gotten with my end of year summary, but I would not have finished the summary if I had to go through and find my most read relationship tags.
Thanks for being here if you've read through this! I've been kinda obsessed with tracking my fanfic reading for a few years and I haven't come across anyone else who shares this type of thing.
For 2026: I want to figure out a way to slim down these posts (If I decide to post this type of thing again) because I know this entire post is obscenely long. Even if I don't post about it, just know that I will continue to keep my spreadsheets and summary documents going until the day I stop reading so much fanfiction (If that day even comes).

Domaystic 2026
Domaystic comes from “domestic” + “May” and it's a prompt event that runs throughout May with a list of 31 prompts for its 31 days. And also 5 alternatives are back. The overall theme is that of the domestic trope: anything inside, outside, beside the house or that has that normalcy flavor of everyday life.
Anyone, in their own way of expression, is welcome to use the prompts and create: fics, art, gifs, podcasts, whatever tickles your fancy, there are no restrictions. For any questions or such, the ask inbox is always open :)
Hello, all! I’m @staticmothhell, stepping in for g. to make sure we have Domaystic this year! I’ll be doing my best to run it in the same way, so you all hopefully won’t notice too much different. The one thing is that I’ll likely be slow and/or erratic with my reblogging during May. Rest assured I’ll still be reblogging everything tagged as properly (as described below).
Thank you all for your patience with me!
-> Text prompts and more details under the cut!
