Such color, such photoshop, such angle, such art~ HAIGUISE! I'M BACK
Taal Lake and other things
"I learnt that it rains when clouds collide with a high building, like a steeple, or a cathedral; the impact punctures them, and everybody underneath gets wet. This was why, in the old days, when the only tall buildings were holy, people used to say cleanliness is next to godliness. The more godly your town, the more high buildings you'd have, and the more rain you'd get." -Oranges are not the Only Fruit, Jeanette Winterson
I have certain attachment to unromantic concepts that I alone deem lovable. I see a quaint beauty in unfinished cups of coffee and I enjoy pondering the lip stick stains, constantly over assessing the color choice. I cannot stand the smell of cigarette smoke but enjoy the idea of nicotine and the shapes the smoke makes in the dead of winter. I hate careless people but feel my generation is losing its spontaneous edge and wish the idea of freedom came without a receipt. I enjoy being assertive in nature and docile in looks and I enjoy looking at the glass as half full only as long as it contains my favorite drink. I have a very particular way of seeing beauty in the world around me. And I suppose that is why I favor being alone. Society has decided there is nothing lovable about factory smoke veiling the stars and society has told us romanticism comes with a price tag. Society has deemed sex as a form of capitalism and society has made beauty into an inescapable masquerade ball. With my resentment grows the repetitive movie industry and the vulgar music and the tanning laws and the bitter politics. The world has stopped seeing beauty in the nature of artificiality and has begun to weaponize the very industry it has created. Attachment to the unromantic leads to criticism and snide comments and the beauty in a manmade world is made into guilt of killing our very own home. Coffee cups cannot be admired without being reminded of the pollution put into the Styrofoam production and nicotine cannot be enjoyed without the hacking of the protesters lungs. We are told we are bad bad bad in nature and are greedy by design and the man on the television gives us daily reminders of how the world no longer possesses any reason to hold out optimism for tomorrow. So we wake up at the same time everyday and brush our teeth in the same way and commute to work in the same way and pay our dues in the same way. And we beat on and on and on, working toward a fallacy and believing in a conformed dream. And at the end of the day, I still see beauty in the unromantic and I still have an attachment to every vile thing in this god forsaken world. Because if I don’t see beauty in the smoke or the lipstick color, no one else will. And your tired actions deserve to be acknowledged, even if you have stopped believing that you deserve it too.

Right from a distance where I sit I could gaze at the needles of the summer rain
that plunge in gallant vindication soft like the cascade of a child’s tresses at daylight.
If only I could pause the times I was with you and save them up for a little later
If only there were more reasons for you to sit with me again say for example, this rain in the middle of summer—
unplanned, so transient that it could be gone any minute now Say for example, the books you’ve been wanting to borrow.
Right from where I extend the pelted battleground of my palms I could catch and compile the needles of the summer rain
so there would remain a reminiscent of the cold ocean as I tirelessly wait for fragments of water to arrive again.
Era-inspired yet fashion forward, the brand is architectural, stylish, and functional. AD414 showcases a collection that is timely and timeless.

speak to me in Romantic tongues, in Norse, in expanse, in forgotten characters, in stark and unrelenting dialogues which neither of us have yearned to actually learn because we speak the undefined, we fancy the misspelled, denouncing concepts of you and i.
so speak to me in a language I’ve never heard of, allow me to hear them, to yield for more worlds of big words, prickling words, those beyond this worn understanding.

Because to some people, it's not as amusing as you think.
In times when life becomes a bore, try designing your own pizza with [unexpired] odds and ends from the fridge.
Swoon.
We were told that the UP-Katipunan Toda barker has a crush on an orgmate, so we asked kuya (or maybe he's younger) if he wanted to have his photo taken with his crush. He snickered and said yes. His name's Balong, by the way.
Me: "Anong apelyido mo? Balunan?"
He didn't find the joke funny :((( HAHAHA. After clicks and the teasing, he tried to hand me fifteen pesos. "Ipa-develop mo, kuya. Tapos bigay mo sa akin! Abangan kita dito." This guy! HAHA.
