For the longest time I’ve avoided you,

Knowing your reputation I avoided you,

How would things be?

Constant Contemplation, But I avoided you.

I know your history,

Guys & Girls would have relations, So I avoided you.

Years have gone by and I’ve had constant Hesitations,

But I can’t stop avoiding you.

And here I am investigating, your under interrogation,

I’m asking everyone about you.

Here we are,

All alone as I take you in with a lack of education,

Time has passed and you got me lost in my imagination,

What’s this feeling?

Heightened is this sensation,

No longer am I avoiding you.

Hooked to how you make me feel,

First a smile,

Then I’m paranoid,

I can’t trust you,

Then so high I’m over joyed,

I think I love ….

Reasons to be sad have been destroyed,

Bad vibes will leave me annoyed,

How can I continue to avoid,

You?

Why do I love hard and get nothing in return?

Why is it when I give nothing that’s when there’s concern?

Why do my feelings get brushed off to the side and invalidated?

Why can’t I stop coming to your rescue when you get agitated?

Why say it’s love when we know it’s Toxic?

Why do I do all this?

Why can’t I just stop it?

Empathetic or pathetic?

Your toxicity leaves me erected

I’m subjective,

My hearts not even protected.

The cycle is on spin,

And I can never seem to win,

Acceptant of all your sins,

Can’t seem to find a way to begin,

Digging myself out of this mess,

No longer do I want this stress,

Can’t keep giving you my best,

While you continue to run this test,

How far will this thing go?

Babe I really just don’t know,

But you got me in a hold,

Don’t choke me out cold.

Is there really any concern?

Will I ever finally learn?

Should I keep this blog?

This blog is almost 10 years old and I'm not the young earlier 20 year old with a minimum wage paying job still tryna figure out what he's tryna do with his life. I'm now the late 20 year old going through a quarter life crisis and stopped blogging maybe 4 years ago. I've been more active in the last fee weeks than I have in the last few years and I like tumblr but idk. I made this blog because I use to write poetry but no one every saw it or noticed it. No one reblogged or pay me no attention. I could only imagine how many ppl have had that issue on this beautiful waste land called tumblr. So I created this blog and said I would acknowledge those who are never acknowledged. Those that never get noticed, I made this for the ppl. But has this done anything for any of you? Do you guys like this blog? Idk, I'm wondering whether to retire this blog or not.

The times I feel better

are darkened by the thought

that it is not permanent.

Left to it’s own devices,

my brain will crumble again,

and what will I be left with?

The times I feel worse

are soothed by the thought

that it is not permanent.

Left to my own devices,

there is something in me

that refuses to lose this way.

Heavy

My heart became

So full,

I could no longer

Carry it

On my own, but

So I set it down, and

It went wrong from moment when I

Pushed the first door closed.

Became worse as windows shattered

thought the breeze would never matter

Soon though I was swept off feet

Baricaded in this tomb, as the shadows creeped

Hunting for the last of lights and barest hints of glimmer

Past shivers from the future, as future sleeps in past

No wonder that this prison wouldn't last

My coffin's already rotten to the heart.

I try to ground myself

in the here and now,

because I am floating away.

An escape, a beautiful one,

if used in moderation,

but I haven’t felt the ground

beneath my own feet in so long,

and if I stay away much longer,

I might never come back.

These cloudy days

August’s unanticipated rains,

The sudden bouts of shivers

That they induce all over my body,

The sound of a deathless silence

That permeates every corner,

Everything wet and damp 

Soaked to the core everyday,

Makes me want to time travel

And go back to the days,

When summers with you

Never seemed to ever end.

C~l~i~m~a~x~

Her lips are twisted, tangled up with her teeth.

She let him swim in her ocean.

She wraps her voice up with her tongue,

Try not to let a sound escape with the air from her lungs.

His hands explore her mountains and valleys...

His mind fixed on one thing.

Her eyes are shut so tight.

Her body rises, like the heat between them.

He’s going to get it soon.

Her voice begins to trickle out, she’s losing her grip.

He grabs her hips.

Her body tenses,

Her lips part,

From her mouth...

That siren song pours out.

He pulls her close while her skin is stricken with wild fire.

He pulls her close, because her voice takes him higher.

Lost and abysmal,

Cross and filled with anger.

How could I become who you need,

How could I forget how to breathe,

Blue eyes and curly hair,

Lost in the sea of your eyes so free,

I want to make you love me.

I’m lost in my drowning sea,

I don’t want to hurt, I don’t want to bleed.

I cleanse my life of you,

For what I hope is the last time,

I lie to myself

My heart hurts to let anymore of you go,

I am a liar,

I lost you MONTHS ago,

Yet I hang on to the thought of you,

I miss the thought of you,

Lie to my heart,

The pit in my stomach,

Never goes away,

I stripped my life of you again,

And it hurts fresh everytime,

But I know that it hurts more,

To hope that you'll come back,

I lie to me every day,

But at least today,

I can honestly say,

I may miss you,

I might have loved you,

But I will not lie,

I needed this,

I'm such a liar.

offer

Would you offer me the world if you could. Can you offer me

anything worth giving & worth keeping. Like yesterday’s rain /

the winds of tomorrow. I know it is too much to ask / which is

why I want it. Give me whatever it is that you can not offer / just

anything worth despairing for. An impossible dream / the birth

of an innocent being / the idea of universal justice / something

dead to resurrect. Also / make it small enough to fit in a briefcase.

I will bring it with me / through one city after another. If there is

another city after this one. Offer me a city / with voices to sing it

awake & in the heart of that city / I will unlock my briefcase & let

go.
