hi everyone , so i took the past few days to kinda figure out where i stood in regards to revamping this roleplay ( & continuing with the ideas i had in regards to where it would go ) , or to just close it down all together. i was mostly undecided , the support / messages i received from some of you were very kind & i’m extremely grateful. the hate that continues to flood the inbox + the general loss of motivation to continue doing this does , however , means i won’t be continuing with this roleplay. to everyone who was sweet & kind & helpful right till the end , thank you , i really appreciate it. my discord is always open if you ever want to talk or write. but , for the forseeable future , misthqs will remain permanently closed.

𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐃   𝐈𝐍   𝐓𝐇𝐄   𝐂𝐀𝐕𝐄 .   rocks fall from the overhang , & before you know it , you’re trapped ! caught in a dark , damp place. has it been minutes , or hours ? time seems to have no meaning here. you scramble for your phone , wanting to call someone , turn on the torch to see , but the screen is blank — flashing a red , empty battery. but you charged it this morning — has it really been that long ? 

something deeper into the cave seems to be illuminating a path. someone in the group decides to follow it , & you tentatively follow , feet shuffling along the rough path , hoping the light is the way out. what you find .. it’s no path at all.

a large , glittering body of water awaits you. there seem to be crystals stuck in the corals at the bottom , shining & beckoning you closer. you want to touch it. you think — this is why it must be called coral lake , this is probably where it originates.
