Hello, I'm Ororo.
Hi. I’m Carradis. Everyone calls me Carrie, though.
It's lovely to meet you, Carrie. -She smiles- How are you?
Hello, I'm Ororo Munroe.
Aye, I am. Both Asgardia and Migard and prosperous, and this eve I am honored with the company of a radiant woman.
-She smiles, attempting to hide the brief flush that lit her cheeks- You're too kind, Thor. Would you like a some coffee?
His face becoming almost completely blank as the grim Russian in him peaked out. ”I’m not giving up on life. I am not suicidal nor do I have a death wish but for me, there is only the here and now. I look forward with clarity and no delusions, dreams or hopes. I see no point in them other than to cloud reality. No, I will do what I have to do Ororo. What choice do I have beyond that? Who else will die, how much more pain will there be because of me if I don’t?” he shook his head sadly and slowly sat down.
"I wasn't implying that you were, I was simply saying I don't wish for you to give up on things ever getting better for you." She sighed, shaking her head. "You're stronger than this, Piotr. Don't let events ruin the rest of your life, because you never know when things might improve out of the blue."
“Whatever, so long as he’s gettin’ regular wedgies.”
"... I don't believe he is. As far as I'm aware."
“That….” He shakes his head sadly. “My entire family has been killed. I died once myself. Any bit of happiness in my life has been torn away and ripped to shreds. I have dozens if not hundreds or thousands of people who want to kill me. A sister who betrayed me and helped destroy my name and honor. A curse just waiting to consume me whole and leave me without even my mind. The love of my life despises me, the government and my friends want to lock me up and throw away the key.” Setting his jaw in a grim line “I wish I could believe that things will improve but I can’t. That is no more than a child’s wish”
Ororo sighed softly as he spoke, resting a hand gently on his arm. "I'm sorry you feel that way, I truly am. I hope that things will improve for you, because seeing you like this isn't something I enjoy at all. If there's no hope, then that means giving up completely, and I don't wish to see you do so."
Hello to you, Ororo, how are you doing?
Very well, thank you. How are you, Tony?
Hello, David.
Hello?
I'm Ororo Munroe.
Hello, Tony.
-His fingers curl around hers slightly, grateful for the attempt at comfort.-
Great man, huh? Think they’d still look up to me if they all knew what happened to my own son?
-She sighs softly, giving his hand a squeeze as she placed her other over the top of their hands-
You shouldn't think like that, Logan. You've made mistakes, yes, but that doesn't mean you can't make up for them.
How are things going there?
Well, mostly. As well as it can with a school full of young mutants.
How are you?
-He sits beside her, staring in silence for a moment. When he speaks his voice is quiet.-
It’s these kids, ‘Ro. How am I supposed to lead them, give ‘em hope for the future? I look at ‘em and all I can think of is how I failed my own.
-Ororo frowns as she listens to him, shaking her head as she reaches out and takes his hand between her own-
Don't speak like that, Logan. They look up to you, and rightly so. You're a great man, it doesn't matter that you've made mistakes.
