Here’s a digital doodle of the Pokémon Espeon!

I’ve been struggling to find the energy to draw lately, but I was able to push through and draw this Espeon! Hopefully it gets easier going forward and I can get back into a regular drawing habit.

Happy Pokémon Day!

Here’s a doodle of a Jolteon on a yellow sticky note that I drew with a brown Copic marker and a uniball gel pen.

This is a study of a mountain lion that I drew with a brown Copic marker and a uniball gel pen (for the outline) on a yellow sticky note. These sticky note doodles are surprisingly fun to do so I’ll likely share more in the future.

Copic markers had a promotion for a $1 random Copic Sketch marker, so I decided to give it a go—I got a brown color called “Chamois.” I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this color makes a good range of shades on a yellow sticky note.

I can now share the full artwork I created for LostDex: A Beta Pokémon Fanzine (@thelostdex)! My artwork depicts beta Espeon and beta Leafeon for the beta Eeveelutions page of the zine. Both Espeon and Leafeon are inspired by sprites that appeared in a demo (from before the release of Gold and Silver).

A wild beta Espeon appeared!

This is something I doodled while figuring out my interpretation of beta Espeon for the LostDex zine. This drawing of beta Espeon is mostly inspired by one of its demo sprites from before Gold and Silver, when it was yellow in color and had two distinct tails.
