Well, let’s see…the recent things that happened to the Waynes are…
Bruce: got stood up on his wedding day by selina
Dick: DC took his dick away so he’s now called “Ric” (for fuck’s sake!). He got shot in the head and has lost all his memory of who he is and everyone he ever loved.
Jason: Batman (the hypocrite) got pissed at Jason for almost killing someone, beat him to near death, and tossed him out of gotham city. He’s lost his team mates, friends (Roy died, too), and is now forced to become a legit crime boss after his father figure practically maimed him (bruce)
Damian: Separated from his best friend Jon probably forever, and due to the events of the comics recently he has lost a lot of respect and trust for his father (bruce), his teen titans team disbands and he has to find a new team composed of mostly people he barely knows, and DC wanted to make him extremely and distastefully dark by having him shoot people with guns, and have his own secret guantanamo prison for bad guys, but DC doesnt seem to have remembered what they wanted with that plot and just went on teen titan-ing.
Tim: Uhm, actually Tim is the only one getting anything happy in his life (and it’s about time too!) He just got the Young justice team back with his old classic friends bart, cassie and Kon. So, heeyyy, at least Tim is in a good place. I guess what DC did to Tim’s character was so bad before they had to sacrifice the happiness of all the Waynes just to give Tim his happy life.
