Why do I keep searching up Soul and Maka on english twitter when I know I'll more likely to stumble on discourses since western fans have no idea how to have fun unlike JP fandom who kept churning out analyses and headcanons every single day even in this era of drought. Like you know, actually making fandom an enjoyable and creation-breeding ground.

JP fandom be like: I noticed this interesting little detail about Maka making space for Soul during the piano scene and what it might mean: you sit on the edge of chairs (such as on trains for example) because you feel unfamiliar with the environment, so Maka sat on the edge expecting Soul would sit next to her since she wouldn't know what to do otherwise: but in the end it was representing how Soul is acting as a guide to her trudging onto unfamiliar territory: in this case, introducing the concept of courage and how to push through madness by herself.

EN fandom be like: thank god it's not canon. That'd be cliche. Nothing more said.
