Hi all!

As I'm sure you're already aware, I'm a massive fan of the Cars and Planes movies. These films and their characters have been steadfast supports throughout my life and have provided me with an unquantifiable amount of joy. Then I found the fandom and got involved with creating. I want to be a bigger part of it!

I'm here to encourage engagement with me. I relish the idea of spit balling ideas and answering asks. So if you want to talk about your beloved characters in any capacity, go right ahead and pop in a message or an ask. And I shall respond.

I also like a bit of a challenge. if you have headcanons that you want to see, or stories you'd like to be written, pop those in too. Ill get so much out of it, plus I get to provide for a fandom that was (and continues to be) there for me when I needed them.

Honest criticism is welcome too!

I had a dream a couple nights ago that me and König were dating and we went to a massive shopping mall with a strange layout. We ended up on one of the top levels where there was this kind of vintage charity shop with the layout of a hardware store that had masses of clothes and we were looking for some shoes for him. We ended up talking to the store clerk at the shoe section and we asked if they had any shoes in a size 15 and the clerk turned round and told us that if we wanted shoes in that size that we would need to go to the drs and get a prescription for them then come back. And then I woke up.

Weird dream, but it was cool to hang out with the Colonel.

Cars 2 Headcanon:

Finn and Leland, for shits and giggles, have swapped their colour schemes at least a couple of times throughout their lives. It confused the hell out of everyone who saw.

Cars 2 Headcanon part 2:

Paint swapping in the world of cars is most often seen as a marriage rite. The vehicles soon to be married will take their partners paintjob for the wedding as a symbol of their love, respect and commitment for each other.

It is sometimes done in jest, and this is most noticed on April fools day. But considering its implications in the symbolic expression of unity, it'll raise quite a few questions. Finn and Leland certainly had to answer their fair share.

Alright. I’ve been dreading making this post all day but I need to make it.

Rod Redline’s voice actor, Bruce Campbell, has informed his fans that he has been diagnosed with cancer. Before I say anything more, this is what he’s said about it:

I’m gonna be real with y’all, I cried a lot this morning. It’s impossible to put into words just how much Rod means to me and how much he’s affected my life over the past fifteen years. He’s a character that’s going to stay with me for the rest of my life. So the thought of losing his voice actor really hit hard.

But he’s not gone. He’s still here and he’s gonna fight this! In his own words, he’s a “tough old son-of-a-bitch.” So I’m gonna believe that he’s gonna pull through this.

A quick thonk inspired by @haunted-planes (sorry for the tag, if u want to not be tagged again tell me!) "Cars 2 Lemons doodles", specifically the last one.

What if the ships were brothers? Or like, a bonded pair? And Tony got blown up, so now the other is left behind, unaware, cuz none of the lemons bothered to inform them.

And now they're just...waiting. And waiting. And waiting. For a Partner, or a brother, or even a close friend, who'll never come back...

me when i'm 67 days into my shift at the oil rig and the weird new gremlin trainee is rooting through everyone's underwear drawers, fight night got cancelled because tyler sent petrov to the infirmary, muggsy started writing erotica about grem & acer, and the hugos ran out of weed 😁😁😁😁

Unfortunately, Tex Dinoco's voice actor has died.

Does this mean we won't ever get to see tex again? Because I really doubt they would recast at this point..

The thing i love most about the cars fandom is our capability to give life to literally every single car in this universe

The Delinquent Road Hazards or the Tuner gang literally appeared for a few seconds in first movie and were later seen in the credits. They were never major characters. Then came the fandom with headcanons, fanfiction and fanart and basically wrote them. These dudes got a massive fanclub and barely even appeared in this universe. I cant say they didnt do anything because they were the reason Lightning got out of his trailer so

But its still just so funny to me how we as a fandom fixate so much on cars we like and basically write them because they were not written nearly enough. Theres Leland Turbo. Guy fucking. Died. At the START. of the second movie. But when i searched him up on Tumblr. He has his own fandom. He appeared for 10 second in one movie and then died and has his own fandom

We are such a fandom that we collectively agree on numerous headcanons dedicated to the Tuners or Leland or Rod. Its literally so fun to be able to say "Wingo is such a twink" or "Leland and Finn were definitley dating" and to get replies like "YES THEY WERE LMAO" like its so fun

I love yall cars fandom. Never change. You guys are (genuinly mean this its not a joke) so creative and i love how we can go into heavy detail about almost every car in this universe because we wrote them more then their creators did. I love it.

How do you think Tex Dinoco would've reacted to Miles Alexrod? How would they talk?

Hi! Thank you the ask! Sorry it took me awhile to get to it.

I think Tex and Miles would have met at least a couple of times. And Tex would have been his happy-go-lucky, gentle self. But I think that would have been a bit of a facade. Purely out of politeness and good business practice.

I see Tex as someone with a huge amount of experience (lets face it, he wouldn't be where he is today if he didn't have said experience), and an uncanny ability to peer through well constructed veils. I think Tex would have had an inkling that Axelrod was, at least in some sense, up to something dodgy, and made the decision to not enter into any form of deal or contract with him. Its almost like a sixth sense. And he is very good at using it.

Of course, because of Tex's demeanour, it would have probably gone straight over axelrod's roof. Their conversations would be polite, mildly humourous and with a small hint of playful rivalry. But it doesn't stray beyond mild pleasantries. Tex kept his distance. He was right to do so.

Tex was shocked when the news of Axelrod's crimes hit the media. But he felt far more vindicated than he felt surprised.

Planes Fire and Rescue Headcanon:

After Cad Spinner was removed from his position at the Fuselodge and Ranger Jammer took over, the crew ended up spending more of their free time at the lodge. It became a much more palatable environment for them. Blade was a little more reserved about it, but did end up going a few times when he wasn't too busy. He ended up enjoying himself, despite his reservations.

Ranger Jammer, as a small apology token for the way the crew were treated by Cad, ended up implimenting a bar policy that ensured all drinks for the parks resident firefighters were free of charge. Maru takes full advantage of this whenever he pays the lodge a visit.
