GETTING BACK INTO CREATIVE MODE
Almost a year out of design school, I am less surrounded with creative people. And I am "less of a designer" these days. I often find myself struggling with ideas. But deep inside, part of me is "more than just a designer". I know I am capable of solving problems, having outstanding presentations and brillant ideas... this morning, it just hit me! I must do something about it. I found this typographic video on "29 ways to stay creative". If you have time to spare, watch this and maybe it will help you as well.

How Steve Jobs Forever Altered Product Design
"Form follows function" is a design cliche that everyone associated with the widening field has heard over and over again. No big brand supports this ethos more than Apple, and with the passing of founder Steve Jobs, we can wholly appreciate this refreshing approach to technology.
10/02/11 - That Barista Thing event happened last Sunday at Library Square in Downtown Vancouver, WT and I went to go see what all the hype was about. Unfortunately, we were too late to watch the latte art competition, but we got to experience all the other activities, such as the tea ceremonies, cup painting, etc. It was really neat :)
