I’m lucky to have a job where I get to write about cats, ttrpgs, and baked goods.

People often scoff when others are upset or devastated by a celebrity death and Lord knows 2016 has taken so many. The thing to remember is what those celebrities mean to people, how their art changed lives whether intentional or not. For me personally, none hit me harder than the death of Carrie Fisher.
She represented the first strong female character a little girl could, and did, look up to. I saw her as Princess Leia stand shoulder to shoulder with a scoundrel and a Jedi, command a rebel fleet, stand her ground in front of a Sith Lord, insult a Wookie, and choked out a Hutt, with the strength and confidence of a thousand princesses and generals.
Carrie Fisher as a writer spoke truths with a sharp wit and snappy humour, was a mental health warrior, giving zero fucks to those who criticized her.
The world lost something special today.
R.I.P. Carrie Fisher. May the Force be with you... always.
I’m a Buffy/Spike shipper. I always felt like he was a more evolved person, but that’s like saying Juliet’s going to be so happy with Benvolio and everyone will love it. Buffy/Angel is for the ages; Buffy/Spike is maybe for me. Actually, I’m a Spike/Angel shipper. Completely re-write the equation.

World's Finest #289: The Kryll Way of Dying
Batman is overcome with feelings, and Superman suddenly appears because he somehow sensed it.
They decide nobody understands them but each other, and that they should spend that night together, so they go to the Fortress.
On they way there, Batman has naughty, yet romantic thoughts.
When they arrive, Superman offers conversation, and giant phallic objects.
They get ready for sexual healing.
Batman still can’t contain his feelings.
And Superman makes romantic declarations and thinly veiled penetration references.
When all of a sudden, their naked feeling is interrupted.
By tentacles from space, no less.
Batman, the lover, finds a way to communicate with the tentacles and he learns that they came to the fortress because Batman and Superman’s feelings were so strong attracted them there. I’m not making this up, it’s the actual plot.
Then the tentacles have sex on panel, while, presumably, serving as a sort of fade-to-black for the scene where Superman and Batman have sex as well.
And to really hammer the point home, the space tentacles die after copulation, just as Superman and Batman experience la petite mort off panel. Their coupling was so intense that they both cry, and then “turn and embrace over the ashes of feeling.”
End.
holeeeeeeeeeee shhhhhhhhh
Bats and Supes have a sleepover, have feelings, watch aliens fuck, then cry.
[slow clap]
I look forward to the AU crossover fan fiction this will surely generate!
