Curious but what do you like about G (Gaster!Sans)? And do you have any personal headcanons about him? Me personally, I like Black a lot more and the way you write him. I still love your story and I always read it all the time for NotU. Please take your time if you need it! I know lots of people are going through a rough patch right now, and your story plus the others always gets me going.

And do you also have any other headcanons for the other sanses? Lol!

Absolutely criminal of me to be fawning over this mf-er of a skeleton and not once going into detail about why I like him so much and how he's stILL IN MY GOD DANG HEAD AFTER FREAKING MONTHS!

(Forgive me guys, it's a super long answer 😅 )

Okay so, in the beginning, I had no idea what G's story was. The only things I've heard and seen of him was, of course, fan art and fics. I never knew there was a comic explaining his whole story back then. I just heard that he was the smarter one having been comprised of the souls of Sans and Gaster, a massive flirt and supposedly handsome. But despite all of that, I just really liked his overall design first and his looks and personality second.

And then, after finding the comic, I loved his story. The way he literally popped into existence, the way his universe ended up the way it did, the journey he had to take with Frisk in order to fix it, and how the ending of the story was open-ended just really caught my attention. It allowed G to keep living outside of his story, us creators making up a new story for him as we saw fit. And it's just so exciting to me because there's a lot of potential to be had of him. He's a laid back and curious individual who's trying to find his way and purpose in the world and trying to prove that he is his own person and not a messed up fusion of two souls and a kid's ideal crush.

I just really like characters like him. It's also one of the reasons I like Killer and Lust so much. So much potential to be had of them but not a lot of it has been explored. And with Rahaf back making Killer content, I've been eating that stuff UP.

As for personal headcannons for G in general, not just for the story of NOTU:

• I like to think that G retained all the memories and knowledge that Sans and Gaster had after finding Frisk in his world but like, he has no idea what he's even talking about when it comes to things that he himself has no idea about

• He's a gentleman and a tease and a massive flirt, but he teases and flirts because it's entertaining to him, not because, most of the time, he's interested in someone romantically

• More logical, a deep thinker and incredibly curious about things because he has Sans and WDs memories but also blunt and straight to the point most times

• He doesn't fall in love easily and I feel the comic justifies this. I know it's a Frans comic but, at least the way I see it, it felt one-sided by Frisk up until the end and even then I feel like G was JUST starting to realize that, hey, maybe the feeling of love he has isn't coming from Sans but from his own emotions.

- I would also like to point out that in NOT U and Housemate that his interest in MC wasn't romantic at all at first despite the link they share, but because he's genuinely curious about them. In NOT U, G was the first to recognize the link but he was more fascinated by the fact that the MC was a human with this unbelievable power and had high levels of LV that he wanted to, basically, study her. He teases and flirts with her because what he really wanted at first was to let her guard down so he could study her but it's just to see her reaction

- In Housemate, he has an interest in humans in general, he even explains it's why he's slept around with them and messed with them and that he finds them to be fascinating creatures, and when he met MC, sure he felt that link but he was only interested in her at first because she was a human that didn't bail out on the maid job after learning that the family she was gonna be working for was a house full of adult monsters, some of which had questionable appearances and personalities. In fact he even stated that what he feels for her right now wasn't romantic, but curiosity and primal urge and he wanted to explore just exactly what kind of bond they would share.

• His personality intrigues me and so like, I like to think that yeah, he has the personality of a Sans, laid back and lazy and doesn't have a care in the world, but the WD part of him has him a little more active and hands on because he's just naturally curious and likes to explore things that interest him and that he's protective of the things he wants to protect

• Though the cannon says he smokes because he just thinks it's cool to do, I like to think that he smokes as a way to get a clear head and think properly for himself and not rely on the combined knowledge of Sans and WD

• He's a tall mf-er, plain and simple. He's got legs for days 😂

I probably have more headcannons for him but I feel the above is good enough to get the vibe about how I view G.

Also, I finally came up with a title for the fic I've been working on for freaking months now so now that that's out of the way I'll probably be posting a few chapters of it soon-ish and hop right back into the other stories because lemme tell ya, so long as G is on my mind he'd be the accidental focus of the fics instead of the actual story and I don't want that djdhejhd

It's like how Housemate was meant to be an MC-&-Killer-focused fic but instead it spread to involving the others because G started to invade my mind

I'd strangle the mf-er but he'd probably like it and say "Harder" just to tease dhdjdhdj

I guess that's another headcannon now that I think about it. Dude's a sado-masochist (or is maso-sadist? Either way he's definitely a dom) 😂 he's usually the one in charge but sometimes he'll let his partner take the lead as a treat

So I stated previously that I have a hc that monsters don't actually have a voice of their own and they instead take and tweak the voices of things that can speak

Well I also hc now that monsters are able to understand and fluently speak any and all languages without realizing they are doing it

So you say that G could possibly be the most dangerous as a Yandere. But in general, would he still be the most dangerous to deal with? I’ve even heard canons that Papyrus is also stronger than Sans - that he just holds back bc he doesn’t want to hurt, so if Green is a mix of Gaster and Paps, would he be more dangerous or would you still put G and Green on the same scale?

Also I forgot to ask this long ago before I saw your post, but who’s stronger in NOTU (excluding reader) of all the alternates?

AND ANOTHER IMAGINATIVE THEORY I CAME UP WITH JUST NOW HOLY-

I was watching Paprika and the music (the parade song) had me feeling so giddy and happy. It just reminded me how in the story that humans aren’t able to take in a monsters soul to get stronger? (It’s been a while since I’ve read, I can’t exactly remember). But Dream isn’t technically a monster, he’s a god. You’d think that maybe reader would get WAY stronger if she were to “absorb” him/his powers or somehow share, borrow or copy it? If she can even handle that kind of power. Like I feel like she’d be having that weird uncanny smile while having golden yellow eyes bc of Dream.

You know you make a good point about Paps. 🤔Mayhaps Green would be the more dangerous one. If the two ever obsessed over the same thing, G would probably know when he's beat and call a truce or offer to just share. >:)

But also, this whole thought came about because I've just had G!Sans on the brain like a curse that I can't get rid of and I've kinda been brimming on fic ideas involving just him.

Also I may or may not have already started writing up a fic or two with just him dkfhkdfj

As for your question, I thought I answered something similar before but as I look back at all my answered asks I realized I didn't. It's hard to choose really. There are lots of strong alternates present in the story. Like yeah, Killer and Dust may have a lot more battle experience and LV than everyone else but I honestly believe that if they fought against the G bros or even the Horror bros they have a chance of losing. The G bros have wicked smarts on their side while the Horror bros have raw strength.

As for your theory, you are right. It is canon that humans cannot absorb a monster soul, mostly because a monster's soul shatters instantly upon death unless they were a boss monster, in which that soul could persist just a little longer after death but they'd still shatter in the end. And while yes that Dream and Nightmare are technically gods and not monsters, Reader wouldn't be able to absorb their souls and vice versa. I know it was mentioned very briefly in the story but it was stated that Night cannot absorb the twin soul because he is not a monster. It's why he's searching for a vessel to take the soul. Now could she still copy their magics? Most definitely. Magic is magic. As for it she'd be able to handle it? Well, who knows? 🤷‍♀️

Random thought time

I enjoy a good stalker/obsession/manipulation/yandere fic/concept every now and again and I've seen some where it's Classic Sans, Swap!Sans, Fell!Sans or Horror!Sans but you know who would be GREAT for the position?

G!Sans

Hear me out

Though he is his own soul and has his own personality, he is still a mix of Sans and Gaster, and don't get me wrong, not a lot is known about Gaster, a lot of things floating around about him are headcannons, but we can all collectively agree that Gaster was insanely smart considering he was the royal scientist, and also probably just a little insane in general lol

The fact that G!Sans is able to recall the memories of Gaster and Sans potentially makes him super smart as well, as much as he loathes it. Add in the fact that in practically everyone's headcannon that G is the more suave and handsome of the alternates, he could be the most dangerous of all if he became obsessed with someone.

He'd know just what to say to manipulate things in his favor, use his charisma and charm to his advantage to stave off any suspension and make him likable, is always thinking ten steps ahead, knows how to make someone disappear and make it look like an accident

G is just perfect for the role, but that's just my opinion :3

No it's not that I'm having trouble trying to write a scene, it's a matter of "is there gonna be one or not?" because I know what I want to happen and there is an end goal but I've been writing and rewriting and adding or removing stuff because I keep having the thought of "Oh but it might be better if X was written this way instead to get Y reaction" and it's just something I won't know will happen until I get there

I'm so sorry for being gone for so long guys, I swear I wanna write and update everything but my brain says no but it'll let me daydream and headcannon just fine TTATT

I guess I can put down what all I have been thinking about as of late though (warning, it's kinda long, sorry 😅)

My mind has still been on NOT U, I want to finish it so badly, I have been thinking of many different ways the story could end up going, however that also hinders me

I know long ago I mentioned that there'd be a fight scene but I honestly don't know if that'll happen now, mostly because I KEEP THINKING OF THE DIFFERENT WAYS THIS STORY COULD GO Dx<

So there might be one, there might not be, it's unclear unu What is clear is how I want the story to end and so long as that goal has already been laid out, it's just the matter of getting there

Another thing I've been thinking about is *dramatic, romantic sigh* G!Sans

I might have a problem guys, help please 😂💦

He keeps invading my brain and that also messes with writing because I just wanna write about him and different scenarios with him fhekrhjf

I don't know why I'm fixating on him but I am and he's being a menace. I should probably just write out what I want just so I CAN focus and maybe it could be some nice food for you guys who are into him 😂

I have also just been headcannoning things and let me know if you've heard of these before but I like to think the following:

1) Ink arranges the doodlesphere constantly. I know he has a bad memory but I still like to think that he categorizes AUs into their own groups and then has sections and subsections of the different types of tropes and occurrences that are found in the au like, "Oh you're looking for slice of life? That's over there in Group 203. Oh you want reverse harem slice of life? Group 203 Pile 27. Oh you want these specific characters in it? Group 203 Pile 27 Section 9." It's just a funny thought to me 😆

2) Monsters don't actually have voices of their own. I like to think that before they were put under the mountain, they were mimicking the voices of humans and then after they were put under the mountain they took those voices and tweaked them to try and be original as they could because they couldn't all sound the same, it would get confusing after awhile, and then once human garbage started to flow into the underground and video tapes and cassette tapes and music started to influence their way of life they started taking those voices to add onto what they had.

I really like to think of the example of Sans and Papyrus. They're brothers but Sans (I think, don't quote me, it's been awhile) has a New Jersey accent while the fandom likes to think that Papyrus sounds like Skeletor based on the sound of his text. I like to think they watched or listened to something and they found a voice they liked and took it. And then this goes for all the AU variants of Sans and Paps and other monsters.

3) Monsters are genderless. Sure some present themselves as male or female but they CHOSE to be that way. This kinda leads into the above headcannon of monsters not having their own voice. Monsters, if presenting themselves as one gender, can switch to a different gender and change their voices and appearance to match. In fact, I know I made a reference to this in NOT U when G was talking to MC about monsters and that he changed his voice to a female one to prove his point in the beginning of chapter 23.

Anyway, sorry this post is long and sorry I'm taking so long. unu It's there in my brain guys, I swear, I just can't seem to write it down. But it'll happen one day.

I experienced something new today and I kind of liked it

Growing up, I never really roller skated much. I can vaguely recall those times but I was still just a kid in those times and it was on the sidewalk of a house I grew up in.

Well I went to my first roller rink today with some family to celebrate a birthday and lemme tell ya, I fell down a couple times and clung to the side railing for dear life.

But I had fun. I eventually got one of those training bar things and slowly started to get the hang of roller skating. When I started I wasn't able to pick my feet up or move my legs but as I continued because I wanted to have a good time, I got better. I was able to pick up my feet, move my legs and straighten out my body. I was able to go around the rink several times instead of clinging to the side rails. Yes I still had the training bar but I had an absolute blast.

Am I sore? Oh absolutely. Was it worth it? Most definitely. And I definitely wouldn't mind going back again.

I'm grateful to everyone who has been patient with me these past two months. I am feeling better now and feel like I can get back to writing. It won't be soon but maybe in a week or so I'll finally give you all the update you've been waiting so patiently for.

For the past month or so though I have found myself reading and rereading the Echo!Tale comics because I wanted to actually learn its story and its characters and needless to say that 1) I absolutely adore it, it has a great ending and 2) my hyper fixation has been solely on G!Sans and he's been living rent free in my head for awhile. Sorry Killer but G now has my attention dhdkfhjd
