She is a royal that actually cares for her people, and understands that it’s her JOB as a royal to serve her people, not the other way around.
When there was no jobs for her people and a recession was starting, she MADE jobs for them.
She built her people a hospital for the sickly.
She, having no battle experience, and at risk to her own personal safety during a time of war, traveled to visit her soldiers in order to provide morale support.
She actively disobeyed her father’s orders and snuck out of the castle in order to go to Akzeriuth to aid an enemy country’s suffering citizens herself.
Despite having Luke as her fiance at the time, she made no objections to his new plans of running off to serve under Van in Daath, knowing full well just how miserable he had been back at the manor (all she asked for was that he remember his promise).
She attempts to reconnect with and include Asch into the group once he steps into the picture when everyone else is utterly distrustful of him.
She abhors that the war started due to false information about her and Luke’s death, and goes out to track the commander down to demand a ceasefire.
She confronts the King directly to learn if the accusations of her identity are false or not.
Despite her own country’s government turning its back on her she fights on the front lines for not only her own country but for the enemy as well.

Natalia had the whole childhood-love and the-lover-dies trope written into her story and she doesn’t let that make her weak or slow her down. She is a princess in a pretty dress that loves her man lots and she will shoot you full of arrows if you threaten her people.
Seriously ranged dps AND a healer Natalia is an actual goddess sent by the gods.
