I have now finished the bag!

I think it turned out pretty well. The surface is corkfabric, which is generally used as a leather substitute. It's a pretty good stiff material for construction. I also used a thick polyester non-fusable interfacing, and a simple black fabric for the inside. I mostly hand stitched it, with some use of superglue. For coloring, the red is red fabric leftover from the cloak, the black is watered down acrylic, and the silver is spray paint. I also learned an important lesson: Do not iron spray painted fabric. I drafted the pattern in paper, but there was a lot of fenagling in the material itself. The opening was really weird. My initial assumption based on the in game image was that the whole top flap opened as one unit. But... since the top is curved that wouldn't actually be able to open. Some of my friends thought that it might open like a coin purse, but I went with seperating the top pieces into 2, mimicking how bug wings open.

Overall, I made the Hollow nest seal latch and the battom panel too big. And someone with more sewing experience could have made the opening flaps fit better. But, as the first structured bag I've made, I think I did pretty well. It fits on the belt I made, seen in part 1.

Next up is the crafting kit! I'll share that when I finish it

idk an au that happens like right after the sealed siblings ending if the knight took grimm child stage 3 with them. I feel like over time hornets body would naturally decompose or rot in the black egg temple and the knight i think of them as dead either way so I don’t know how this would work but I feel like Grimm would find or sense the Grimm child and since their so close to being finished I feel like he would go over to retrieve them find the knight chained up,hornets body and the hollow knight shattered fragments of their mask and he would add them to the troupe however the very likely chance this will not happen in game I feel like it would be interesting topic
