So I haven't really drawn anything in like 7 or 8 years. Especially anything digital since I got out of college. But over Christmas I got a new tablet, and finally broke it out last month after my job let me go. This was the first thing I drew.

Is it good? Probably not. I did fiddling around for like an hour and half in Clip Studio, and again I haven't draw in years. Proportions and stuff are probably off, but I don't care. I am super proud of it, even thought I kind of forgot to draw the rest of the rooftops and color more Eugene.

Holy crap, I just did some digital art with a new tablet I got for Christmas last year, it felt so good. I wasn't really ask for one, nor had the time to really use it (until now, guess that's what happens when you get let go from your job, you get lots and lots of time). I was inspired to draw a scene from a fanfic I am writing.

It's not good, I haven't draw in any capacity for like 7 years or so. And it's like a drawing did in a hour after hardly drawing for years. But honestly I am proud of it.

I'll post it when I post the fic, maybe sooner, I don't know. It would kind of be nice to get back into drawing a bit again.

So I haven't posted on here in FOREVER...for a lot of reasons. But here are some work doodles I managed to do in the past couple weeks.

Because I haven't posted anything here in ages...(this I do to the fact I have a job now and what time I do have is funneled towards writing and working out). So here are some doodles I've done at work and the newer direction my art style seems to be taking. Additional pictures posted on Instagram

So recently, I noticed that recently this design of a tattoo has been showing up in my dreams A LOT.  It seems nearly every night, that I can recall a dream, this seems to be here, or variations of it.  I realized this while dreaming last night (though in all honesty it could all be one dream...but whatever).  Someone has always visibly been had it, but the one I strikingly remember is on the left shoulder side and down the arm.

I am seriously considering getting this, on the side of my left shoulder, as my second tattoo.  However, I know it’s probably going to be hella expensive (watch it be like 150 or some shit), and I’m relatively broke (my most of my second paycheck should go towards student loans).

Either way, the first one is the one I remember from the dream, the others were fiddling around with the design and finding I liked some of them.

TA-DA!  (I haven’t posted in forever, so much for the summer challenge)

Anyway, I drew a whale shark, for once something not human in someway...An actual animal.  I did this partially because I really wanted to draw a whale shark, and partly because one of my aunts is having a baby.  (also a possible thing for etsy if I make a shop)

I plan for this to be part of a set of four, I have on other done, and started working on a third (but I don’t know if I like the idea of the third, so it might get scrapped), and have no clue what to do for a possible fourth.

TADA!  The first time I actually sat down and did a nice line art, instead of the sketchy on I always do.

The is an idea I’ve had for a superhero that has been rolling around in my head.  She’s a techopathic.  Meaning she can manipulate, communicate, and control technology with her mind. It doesn’t all have to be electric based.  She can pretty much take apart anything with parts and build something new without lifting a finger.  Her abilities also stem into metal a bit, but only by means of moving it for protection or bending to create something, but that’s it.  She is also a great hacker.  I’m stuck between two names, one being the Dark Hack, and the other being Tech Knight.

Quick/not quick doodle of myself I did for my portfolio website (got to love job hunting!  No more school, but at what cost).  I drew the outfit I plan to be wearing tomorrow to my brother’s high school graduation.  I didn’t finish coloring it because I didn’t need all of it, so yeah..

I haven’t posted anything here in a while. I graduated college and now I’m looking for a job.  I’m thinking of possibly opening up a print shop on etsy, cause money is nice.  I might try and do the “challenge” I did last summer (draw/do art everyday and post it).  I don’t know if I could post everyday, but I need to just get drawing again.

So my Digital Sculpture class ended yesterday and theses were my final project.

I downloaded digitally scanned busts of classical busts and sculptures from the internet.  Then proceeded to hide, mangle, and obscure the faces, as kind of statement to hiding one’s identity and as well as connections and interactions made online.

Despite having resisting the urge to get in a argument with my professor (She kind of took my project in another direction and kind of refused to listen to where I had gone with it) everything went okay!

Hey remember that Legend of Korra airship I was modeling?  Yes, no, maybe. 

Well guess what, after many hours of work and frustration, I finished it!  I’ve printed it out on a 3D printer I have access too, and (despite printers process and minor errors) it looks fantastic.  I’m so happy with how it turned out.

So happy that I uploaded it to a sight that will print it professorially with higher quality 3D printers, materials, and methods.  Cool, I know!

But that’s not the best part, I can open a shop and sell it other!  What?!

Yeah, totally true.

The model I’m currently selling is about 3in x 2in x 5.25in (7.5cm x 5cm x 13.5cm).  It’s made from nylon plastic, and available in black (default) and white. [FYI, the pictures above, but you probably knew that already].  The price is $45 for one print, plus shipping.  You can order here, on my shop, Mizu Falls From Shopping, on shapeways.com.

I know it’s rather expensive, but it cause about $18 for material, $20 for machine volume, and $2 to $3 for labor.  Plus, I’m really seeing how this goes for.  If this sells, I could have the opportunity to sell it in other colors and materials (like actual metal).  Right now,  my goal is to make enough money to raise $267 to print the full sized model. (Which is twice the size and painfully expensive to print)
