I went to the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum. It was absolutely beautiful!!! I wish I could've stayed longer to sketch more of the vehicles.

the process for this spread was a little experimental. You see that line art? it's the pen sketches I made in the museum, but scanned, warped, and frankensteined together to fit the new perspective!

i painted on top of a sketch that was colored a vibrant blue and purple, and it turned out really well! I didn't know that I could render like this!

I really liked all of these thumbnails for a project! unfortunately I could only use one.

there's a small mostly-dry tributary stream near me, and smack dab in the middle of it is a culvert. if you go through the culvert, it's either dry, or there's a stagnant pool of water there. I've seen snapping turtles and cottonmouths in the area before!

I designed this packaging for class, based on a story my parents told me about a horrible beverage called "mushroom milk." When I investigated mushroom health supplement powders, i discovered that their packaging was swagless. Here's my solution, inspired by the psychedelic art of the 60s. I call it "Milk of Mycelia"

It and Dalphina... still don't have a good last or middle name for them, this OC is still a work in progress, but you can bet she'd say the whole thing with aristocratic pride. It, on the other hand, has no such pride.

You could almost call this a play on the old "evil alter ego" trope, but It is more like what qualities Dalphina considers "deficient" in a fashionable heiress such as herself. That won't stop her from using Its abilities for her own profit.

I liked working in this illustration style! It's entirely composed of the lasso tool instead of any brushes.

I wasn't considering the symbolism of the number of eyes when I made it! But i like where you're going with this!

(my thought process for their respective poses was more like: "hm, Dalphina is very coy and dishonest, and likes to present a very particular image of herself. Side profiles are beautiful, downright deific in some contexts, and cat heads look stylish from that angle, though i dont know why! And It is very scared and doesn't care about their image, so It'd keep all Its eyes on anyone nearby while not caring at all about Its posture, and combining that with It brandishing one of Its guns is a clear signal to the observer that It's armed and so you better not try anything funny!")

I think the fact that there are four eyes visible in this piece could be interpreted as there being enough "character" for two people between It and Dalphina! But It is the one between the two of them who tries to live Its own life, meanwhile Dalphina tries to squeeze herself into the image of a perfect fashionable heiress. (This is a bit of a problem for once I start RPing them: It is probably going to be way more fun to RP, because It does what It wants, meanwhile Dalphina's actions are all calculated and constrained!)

Additionally, It just has plain more "sight." Not only does Its mind swim in the waters of divination, but It observes reality "clearly:" a lot of information about the state of objects, without any care for the social bonds or lies that confuscate Dalphina's worldview. She is selfish, not seeing the masses as anything other than a tool she deserves to exploit, nay, she has to exploit, or else she is a failure. (That's not to say that It is a champion of the proletariat in opposition to her, It just doesn't care about their image at all.)
