I had this Omori AU idea.
It’s an AU where where after the events of the good ending, everyone dies. It would have ended with Sunny relapsing back into his alter ego, Omori, and kills himself like what happens in the bad ending of the game.
This AU is heavily based on sunnysviolin’s Shattered AU and the nuclear ending to otomerson’s Pursuit AU.
The story for this AU begins at the end where Sunny tells the truth to his friends. Aubrey and Hero don’t forgive Sunny and Basil for what happened to Mari. Kel does forgive them and remain friends. Sunny would often visit Faraway Town every month to visit Mari grave and hang out with Kel and Basil.
But then a tragic event happens that led to the death of Kel and Hero’s dog and their mother. Kel become broken by this. He becomes resentful to Hero, Aubrey, Sunny, and Basil. He starts lashing out at them. Kel feels tired of trying to fix things between his friends and loses all hope. He would eventually commit suicide in their friend group old picnic spot.
Aubrey would have found Kel’s body and becomes traumatized. Heartbroken due to another lost of a friend, Aubrey would hide most of her feelings and become more angry. She would start bullying Basil again, only this time is much violent. She would also bullies Sunny whenever he visits. She hates Sunny and Basil for what they did to Mari, but also because she blames them for Kel’s death. It would have gotten so bad to where Sunny confronts Aubrey and tries to talk to her. This turns into a fight where Aubrey almost kills Sunny. That when Aubrey realize what she’s become. This would led to her committing suicide in the treehouse.
Basil would become more unhinged due to Kel’s death, Aubrey bullying/death, guilt, and being alone. Sunny would not visit Faraway Town due to him relapsing back into his alter ego Omori after finding Aubrey’s body. Basil would start lashing out at the delinquent, who would still bully him. He become so guilt ridden and so alone, he kills himself like he did in the neutral ending.
After hearing about Basil death from his mother. Sunny would eventually kill himself. His last moment would be him dream of everyone at the picnic spot in headspace.
I have many ideas on what I should name this AU...
