so last year during a period of intense suicidal depression i made this necklace that i always wear, right, and the thing is it's genuinely brought me a lot of comfort and relief and i've developed a strong sentimental attachment to it, to the point that i can inarguably state that it's had a net positive effect on my mental wellbeing. however i did now just have to stop to almost throw up laughing because i realised that i've succumbed to the amulet.

remembering that among all his other titles, Luo Binghe is also Huan Hua Palace Master is crazy. I really wonder what the hell the situation is there post-canon. is HHP basically defunct after Maigu Ridge? does he hand control over to someone else? or is he still a goddamn sect leader on top of everything else?

if he's still palace master, then I still have questions about HHP's position in the cultivation world since I imagine their reputation is not doing great after all the shit went down during the five year gap and immediately after. still, HHP was one of the four great cultivation sects, so like. do they still get invited to things, just to save face? I'm imagining a cultivation conference that Huan Hua Palace gets invited to, and Luo Binghe has to decide if he wants to attend as the spouse of a Cang Qiong Peak Lord, the sect leader of Huan Hua Palace, or the fucking emperor of the Demon Realm

IIRC at the start of the Five Years period, several from Cang Qiong (most notably LQG) publicly accused Luo Binghe of being a demon, due to the whole Xin Mo thing, but the people of Huan Hua Palace stridently denied it. Leading to constant fighting between the lay members of HHP and CQMP.

which is all Very Funny given everything with the corpse and how the place was swarming with demons and LBH barely even seemed to care about hiding it

Imagine your sect rivals making up a bullshit rumour about your beloved uber-popular gorgeous master being a DEMON just to slander you. (And also a few years earlier at the IAC your sect suffered the biggest losses and are therefore still pretty sensitive about everything.) and like okay sure he immediately slides into a depressive state and makes some weird choices about his old master's corpse but that still doesn't make him a goddamn DEMON, okay?????

anyway a few years later and Luo Binghe is just openly the emperor of the demon realm but he only takes on that role begrudgingly and would rather spend all his time with his beloved high-ranking member of the martial sect *checks notes* Cang Qiong Mountain Sect.
