Sol was born in 1980 in a small Colombian town. His mother was of Italian descent, and his father was a local man who had become involved with the criminal underworld.
As a child, Sol spent carefree days playing by the river, or helping his mother with her garden. He loved his parents, especially his mother, she was so kind. He liked to pick her small flowers when played in forest. One fateful day, while he was out near the river, the cartel came for his parents — his father had crossed the wrong people. When Sol returned home, he found his parents dead.
At just 12 years old, Sol fled to the United States. Hungry and terrified, he wandered through a southern US states, trying to survive.
One day, he met woman — a tough woman from New York with a sharp gaze. She was in the state on a mission for a criminal group. Seeing something of herself in the lost boy, Laura decided to take Sol under her wing.
She taught him how to survive in the dangerous criminal world: how to defend himself, read people, and never underestimate the cost of a mistake. Under her guidance, Sol grew up in this harsh environment, learning its rules and building his own path.
Years later, Sol realized that the tragedy of his parents’ death was only the beginning. He had entered a world where the sun shone differently — a world of constant struggle, where the past never truly let go.
