Holiday to Tenerife = life changes
So I have just come back from a weeks holiday in Teferiefe one of the islands that makes up the Canary islands. It was such a good week away one of the best activities for me was going whale watching on a catamaran, we actually saw some pilot whales (which was amazing). We also went stargazing on Mount Teide which was amazing to see the rings on Saturn and some of the most beautiful clusters of stars.
But the main reason I am writing this is the plane journey, as I was sat by the window and the majority of our flight was over the ocean i thought at first that I could see the most amazing waves. it was only when my boyfriend pointed out to me that we wouldn’t see the waves from our altitude, IT WAS PLASTIC. There was so much plastic and it was everywhere, this shocked me, I knew that there was a problem but not to this scale. So as a couple we are going to make more of an effort to be single use plastic free.
So the main point of this blog is to say that a lovely holiday can change the way you live and can have an impact on the world we live in. I shall attempt to keep you up to date on our changes and struggles.
