So, real talk
I know I never use this, but I feel we need to talk about the whole āanti-gunā thing going around. What they want to do with firearms WILL NOT WORK. Firearms donāt kill people, itās just a machine that goes bang. What does hurt people are *other people who are mentally fucked up*. Look at what just happened in Parkland; a kid went into the school to harm other children, and a man shot him before he could do anymore damage to the students. If we didnāt have legal firearms that whole situation could have gotten out of hand and resulted in more harm. Now, I agree that AR-15ās arenāt *needed* in the civilian market. they make terrible home defense weapons as the round the rifle chambers, commonly the 5.56x45, has the potential to go through walls and harm family member. However, they are stupidly fun to shoot, as I have personal experience with the platform. Just because a firearm *looks* menacing, doesnāt mean it it should be wrong for the law-abiding citizen to own. We canāt make guns illegal, because that means only criminal will have the means to acquire guns. Criminals donāt follow the law, and if we make guns harder for us good guys to get, they will still be getting firearms. Either you admit that you want to ban all firearms and go against our second amendment right, or just stop and let people who want to better ensure the safety of America do what they can. The current president and his āofficeā may be wrong, but thatās what the amendments are for, read them and you might find something worth while.
