Got invited to two in the last two weeks. I can't even shower regularly

We stop trying.Just went to the mailbox to do my civic duty. Was feeling pretty good about not having any joke moments today. Tripped and fell in the middle of the street: Everyone passed me by. Just another ORDINARY JOKE!

I will write my pain

Friends, family, nation, inter-web, it has come to my attention that there is little advocacy for those who aim high but fall short every time. 

Exhibit A: I had two goals today: 1) get a lot of shit done 2) be healthy. 

12:30 pm: Take out my fancy and carefully picked $10 salad 

12:31 pm: Decide that being healthy is not so bad, feel like the salad was a #winning choice 

12:35 pm: Take out laptop to simultaneously do work because everyone else is doing this, and I don’t want to be left behind 

12:35 and 30 seconds pm: Salad falls on to ground. Greens and grains everywhere. 

12:36 pm: Clean up said salad while others watch

12:39 pm: Announce: “My life is a joke” I should write a blog called #mliaj

12:39 and 10 seconds pm: Someone whose life is not a joke: “I don’t think I would ever read that” 

12:39 and 11 seconds pm: Me: “Clearly you are not my target audience” 

12:45 pm: Buy a cookie, because, why bother? 

6:00 pm: Non #mliaj classmate’s words still ringing in my ears... “I will write my pain.”
