Forgive the packed bags, the lingering scent of his favorite shampoo. Forgive your mind for every time you don’t know what to do. Forgive all the things you hate if you find them in yourself. The broken rings, the ugly marks, the tar within your lungs. Forgive the blood, the failing tests, and see how far you can become. You may choose to simply turn to dust. Everything will be the same. Or you can choose to breathe out fire and set the world aflame.
