So who will be the main villain here? Smilk or First Egg? Though imo Smilk should be the greater threat, while First Egg could probably be convinced to work with the heroes somewhat.

For sure, smilk is definitely gonna be a bigger problem in the AU (at least for the foreseeable future). Answered the Egg question as more of a hypothetical, since I don’t wanna commit to anything before knowing more about her lore.

I picture the conversation between First Egg and the beasts being similar to Homelander and Stan Edgar from the Boys season 1.

How do you think the Beasts would react to being called “A failed product” by First Egg Cookie, and it being said in such a “don’t give a f about you” way.

...probably not very well? I think the specifics would depend on where/when in time (canon or AU) it would hypothetically happen, but I can't really share too much for First Egg in WR!AU, since we don't have too much information on her and she's likely to only come in much later. If she had the gall later on, though, I'd be less worried about the beasts' reactions, and more about her former peers, who would likely have much fewer reservations about getting dangerously violent.

I looked at one of your other posts and it seems the other Beasts will come back at some point in the AU. My main question is how? Presumably the First Cookies will do it but how do they do it exactly?

Hi! Tagging related fandoms, but with regards to the Witch’s Rift AU comics, I’d like to get a survey of opinions from those invested.

I don’t dislike the style the series has right now, but it does slow down production a fair bit compared to something simpler; in essence, I’m asking quality or quantity (not that I’d be ok with shipping poor quality art I just mean the current style adds visual fidelity). Either way, next update is around halfway done, so look forward to that if you’re interested!

Super busy with college stuff, but the brainrot won’t leave me alone, so in the meanwhile take these rough scribblings for some stuff down the line in WR!AU. I initially didn’t love the whole ‘sprinkle baked bspice’ thing from devsisters but the more I think about it the more potential that pairing has, so I’ve decided to keep it.
