Hi, I'm 217 (or Two for short), my pronouns are they/them, and I love cats more than anything. Which is why I'm here! It's been a long time coming that I made a Zootopia side blog, and kittyboy finally gave me the push I needed.

I'm mostly here for Pawbert my cringefail loser boy (affectionate), but will also reblog and talk about other Zootopia related stuff because I do love animals! Get ready for my Pawbert x oc ship because I am who I am (everyone I love gets an oc thrown at them). Plus I love drawing animal people, so that's a huge bonus!
🐈⬛ I'm often mistaken for a selfshipper (I do use the tags but my ficto-attraction is real and not a hobby), but aside from my irl relationship, I much prefer oc x canon ships to self-inserts. Oc creation is my favorite thing, and I like the creative freedom of independent ocs that aren't just me slightly to the left. That said, my main oc is a cat because I, too, am a cat. And I just really like cats. I do not consider her to be "me" in any way though.
I feel like if Pawbert was attempting to impress someone, he’d be the type to lean against a table- only for it to snap in two.
Alternatively, if he leaned against a wall he would probably lose his balance and fall over.
If he tried to flirt, he would probably lose his confidence halfway through and trip over his own words. Occasionally though, I think he would catch his s/o off guard by unintentionally being really suave.
His pickup lines are the absolute worst but very endearing.
I wouldn’t put it past him to pinch money from his family to take his s/o on a date. He would probably beat himself up about it later though - “..I’m a terrible person, this is why Dad hates me..” kinda thing. If he got caught, he would definitely be in big trouble.
Pawbert would find it necessary to introduce his s/o to his family, but would absolutely dread it and worry about the things his father and siblings might do or say.
I think some of Pawbert’s ideal dates would be motorbike rides, attempting to serenade his s/o with his guitar, or a picnic somewhere in the desert!
He’s probably very used to expensive dinners in fancy establishments with his family (unless of course they don’t let him attend, which is very probable.) I think he would avoid going to high-class restaurants with his s/o unless they really wanted to.
Alternatively, maybe he’d view fancy restaurants as something very exclusive that he’s expected to earn, and would proceed to find work in order to save up money and surprise his s/o with an unexpected dinner reservation.
This might be a little icky to some people, but I think he’d lick his s/o on the head to express affection, as most cats do- kind of like a kiss on the forehead!
Pawbert is ridiculously touch-starved, and the only physical affection he ever got to experience was with Gary. I think he’d be the type to randomly hug his s/o for no apparent reason, just to feel the comfort of being close to someone.
His paw would DWARF that of his s/o’s (unless he’s dating a larger animal, but even then Pawbert’s paws are very disproportionate to the rest of his body.)
Pawbert’s love language would almost certainly be words of affirmation and physical touch. He is not a fan of expensive gifts- he and his siblings often recieved them, and to Pawbert they felt hollow and materialistic.
Nick and Judy are notorious for using affectionate nicknames, but when it comes to Pawbert.. hm. I think he’d be very hesitant to use them, as he himself has probably never been addressed with a nickname- so he’d be unsure of what nicknames to use and when.
On that note, I think maybe he’d try his hand at really cringe-inducing names like “snowflake”or“honey-bunches” before realising he does not have the nerves for that kind of thing. There’s a chance he’d opt for “babe” when he’s more confident or speaking offhandedly.
More often than not, he would probably just call his s/o by shortened version of their name (credits to @sunnyyfur for this one.)
If his s/o offered him flowers, he would immediately assume they were for someone else. Upon realising they are in fact for him, he would resist the urge to hug them close, and then sneeze upon sniffing them.
When he’s around his s/o he finds himself purring. A lot.
He would lie awake in the middle of the night mulling over a question that he’d desperately want to ask his s/o, but would be very reluctant to wake them.
I think Pawbert would be unexpectedly irritatable when he’s half asleep, but would revert to his default awkwardness upon waking up before apologising for anything harsh he might have said.
Pawbert would be absolutely smitten with an s/o who laughs at his awkward attempts at humor.
He alternates between being the big spoon and the little spoon, but I think he’d secretly prefer being the little spoon - it would make him feel safe and loved.
