#as a mixed kid this shit boggled my mind#the response to my white mother vs my brown father was so different#people asking if im ok if they should call someone#they only see colour too !!#like i look just like my dad and have traditionally indigenous features but bc im pale ive been kidnapped??#no one with eyes that arent biased can look at me and my dad and say we dont look related#literally his mini me#and the amount of times this happened was crazy#not to mention him getting pulled over bc he had a new truck and that was SUSPICIOUS ?!#my paternal grandfather was dying and the nurses and everyone ignored him until my mom was like wtf#then they were all smiles#and they were smiles at me until they realised who i was there for and that i was mixed#then i got attitude and ignored#hate this place man
